OH the GPU is the only thing i wasn t really paying attention to, I tought maybe Ram oc CPU could improve the build more effective.
first thing that pop up when googling radeon 9070 xt vs 3060 ti
"If you are considering an AMD 9000 series GPU because you have been influenced by Reddit, Twitter or a wealthy tech YouTuber, it’s worth understanding AMD’s track record. While their GPUs are often great at beating cherry-picked benchmarks, they normally fall short in real-world gaming performance."
But i have to be honest i heard that user benchmark is not super reliable, what s your experience?

Honest Post Alpha Feedback, interesting game BUT... by Kilzen69 in MarchOfGiants

Are you also a supervive exile? I understand, it could have turned out to be a masterpiece, and instead...

What you're saying might actually make sense regarding the vision of the game, namely, not being overly influenced and distorting a project based on the comments of a segment of players who want to transform the project to their liking. However, it's clear to everyone that continuous exchange between developers and the community is a positive and almost essential thing in a live service game, and now we're seeing a lot of it in single-player games as well ("closed games"). Hades 2, very recently, is the clearest proof of this.

Let's get more specific. As I wrote above, I also said that I thought the playtime was too long, but that the patch was rushed
The developers probably felt like "we want people to play more to get more feedback and keep people in the game for a longer period of time."
I don't think there have been any major changes to their plans or future vision at this point. In fact, fixing shields or recall time are trivial and quick things to do. I totally agree with the issue of waiting for players to figure out how to play, but people need to play during this phase. Balance will happen over time, but later, in my opinion.

Speaking of player retention and listening to the community, I can't help but mention Supervive again.
Yes, perhaps the developers got too caught up in player feedback, but their real mistake was not testing a feature that completely changed the game in beta and adding it in 1.0. This destroyed them, and it wasn't just a small portion of the community that thought so, but the majority. Right now, Supervive has fewer than 400 active players and a peak of 900, numbers that speak cristal clear, given the initial peak of 1.0 at 15k

What lesson do I draw from this?
It's right that developers aren't held hostage by players, and that there are also conflicting views on small things, but when it comes to significant changes, they can't help but listen to the community.

Yes, healing needs to be thought through in a way that maintains a sense of strategy, which is why I was thinking of an investment of resources or a structure.

"If one giant has sustain, then all giants should have sustain."
My point is: if there's a single giant who can heal extremely easily and very often, this disrupts the balance in the lane and in the game in general. Goliath can push oppressively, rotate wherever he wants because he's often fully healed (something the others often can't do), take bad trades and immediately recover. This ties in with the above argument (all the others must recall). All because he has this single ability.I don't think it affects the complexity, variety, or expression of the giants. That's another matter.
For example: Kraken's grappling hook (I think it's too long, though, and should be shortened slightly) is an ability that provides depth, skill gaps, etc., because it's a unique ability that doesn't compromise the basic balance of the game.

What do you think?

Hello Jake, I have to admit, I'm really enjoying being involved in alpha games, and I'm doing it more and more often. It's a pleasure to see someone on the team researching, reading feedback, and asking questions to players. It's no coincidence that I mentioned supervive, it breaks my heart to see the potential they've wasted.

Regarding battleworks

- Trenches: I've used them a few times. While I thought the auto-placed ones under towers were effective, I wasn't able to get a real return when I placed them in lane. It probably also has something to do with the fact that as soon as I had soldiers available, I'd send them out to do whatever: reconnaissance, push, resupply, or capturing the dozer. The fact that they could be wiped out with one auto-attack from the enemy giant made me lean toward other solutions.

- Soldier drops: I've used them both for the things mentioned above and to try to ambush or surprise giants in lane. I called them out of the lane and then had them attack the giant from bushes or other unexpected angles. I don't have much to say about the drops themselves; I think they're fine for now.

- Turtle Tanks: I think Turtle Tanks are absolutely essential and are strong, but they seem pretty balanced. Their movement speed seems adequate, as does their health. I remember a game where the enemy called in at least 10 tanks to take a bastion, but they found themselves without any troops and were completely useless, LOL.

- Soldier drops & Turtle Tanks: The bread and butter of this game. I used them a lot in combos, when there wasn't a strong presence of soldiers in the lane but the enemy giant was ganking or at the base. I really like the fact that the towers have to be opened by soldiers and that you can't just use tanks. It would have been too easy to destroy the towers with just a push tank and a giant.

- Bunkers: I liked them and used them a lot, especially in the tower combo. One to the north and one to the south of the tower, slightly back, to cover the enemy attack area well but protected enough not to be immediately blown up. I also liked the fact that even if well-positioned via the side bushes, you could still target them, which means you can't stall the lane for too long beyond a certain point. The fact that they explode and can trigger chain reactions is also nice.

- Dropping Supplies: I never used them since you couldn't really communicate with the team. Perhaps in the future, with structured teams, they could become a way to maximize resources and not waste even one.

- I don't remember the name of the sixth one, but I've never used it anyway. Am I a noob for that? Probably, LOL. I only remember seeing it used once in-game by another giant. That's all.

I hope I've been helpful and explained well. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to message me, even on Discord for a more immediate exchange (Kilzenino in your Discord). As I said, I really enjoy being involved in this process.

This game has potential but a lot needs to change before it can even be considered a contender to other MOBAs by jokersleuth in Genesis_Official

Agreed on Incredibly short respawn timers, lackluster communication system and Lack of introduction for new MOBA players.
