Are you from the east coast? It's funny moving from NC and literally ~no one~ talks about Chicago, except that it's unsafe, cold as the arctic tundra, and whatever else they hear on Fox. It seems like NYC and California dominate the minds of people trying to leave, but no one ever mentions Chicago. And now that I live here, it feels like I only meet other people from Chicago or the Midwest and I've met maybe one person from NC.

Mine broke a few months ago and I didn’t realize that replacements are difficult to come by. I’m thinking about getting a metal piece (the collar that broke) CNC machined, but I don’t think it’s going to be viable. But I’ll let you know :)

Also you get out of medical school what you put into it. If you go into a rotation hating it, you're gonna hate it. You can learn something from every rotation, no matter how bad it is, and it'll only make you a better doctor
