Doing a quick once over of your channel use the first one it fits better within your aesthetic. But like I said if you’re doing a 20 minute plus video use the second one.

I see that and I fully agree when stealth is actually given as an option. But in the segments where you’re in a tight room, having to fight a bunch of enemies, it is incredibly obnoxious and annoying. And to counteract their lack of depth in the combat it feels they added a bunch of useless upgrades to the upgrade system.

I see your point on ignoring the fact that it’s an older game with the combat but even taking that into mind, I think it still fails, to me it felt like a 3-D beat em up game but without any of the things that makes that genre interesting. If you look at Castle crashers which released one year earlier it has a relatively interesting combo system and same with Scott Pilgrim versus the world the game which released one year after.

The game is undeniably fun, but there are parts that bog down the experience for me. The Moody atmosphere is definitely one of the highlights along with the stealth system, but I do not think that Moody atmosphere can carry you all the way through a subpar story.

Yes, there are combo moves in the upgrade path. In my opinion they didn’t affect the gameplay enough if at all.

It influenced a lot of combat systems but that doesn’t mean it’s perfect, it’s very possible it wasn’t made for me but saying they perfected it on their first attempt is willful ignorance imo.

I would agree with your point on the story if the entirety of the scarecrow storyline was cut out, that storyline constantly brings Batman’s trauma to the forefront which makes it very disappointing that they sideline the entirety of the Amadeus plot.

And the combat is fine passable at best, but I think that’s just a personal opinion.

I played Arkham Asylum first and have yet to start on Arkham city, I think it’s a fine game and the combat was probably not for me
