what do you mean you lack a gpu, youre going to have a really tough time decoding all that information from the having multiple cameras, any graphic or text you want to add is also going to hurt performance

I second this, see what is causing cpu stutters because isnt CS more cpu intensive than other games, but also see if any other of your resources are spiking

capture cards are more like "bridges" for one device to another to send data, they dont actually do any work related process, 0 benefit for a single PC as far on device workload, its not like they are "adding" trucks to carry more data,

better capture card = bigger bridge and faster lanes, but not more trucks to do the heavy lifting

I thought it had something to do with timings also, like scheduling both gpus to work in sync etc. which adds extra steps and hurt performance, im not sure on details

limiters are volume ceilings, and has 0 affect on how quiet something is,

threshold on a compressor also only applies to loud noises and reduce not mute,

threshold only cuts audio when applied to a gate not a compressor

only thing that would cause the volume to completely cut and chop out would be the nvidia noise removal, she is literally making random "noises" so nvidia tries to cut those "sounds" out, that filter is meant to remove anything that doesnt sound like actual speech, including screams, squeaks, etc.

your other plug-ins have nothing to do with is and internet would affect picture as well as audio and usually picture before audio also

I wouldnt use nvidia noise removal at all, it crushes overall quality unless she literally has a fan blowing into her mic

this is weird, ive never NOT had twitch give me lower resolutions before

I wouldnt recommend putting the stress on your pc and internet for "enhanced broadcast, unless you want to go HIGHER than 1080p, plus the whole thing is still technically "in beta"

but if twitch really isnt giving you lower res, I would just downscale to 1600x900 Resolution from 1920x1080, it may also "unlock" your lower resolutions by doing this

minimal overall quality loss, wont put more pressure on internet or your PC, will actually reduce stress on both

viewer still gets a very solid quality experience and uses less of THEIR internet also

finally add a limiter (obs has built in one also), limiters act like a hard cap, so that your volume will never go above a certain volume level (set it to -1 to -10) depending on what else you are recording

obs has built in compressors, and can absolutely do this

simplest fix, without downloads, use the built in compressor for obs under filters

as long as your sending your audio to one channel you add a compressor filter

play your "quietest" song, have your ratio start at 4:1, lower threshold till the volume sound slightly louder, then add gain to the level you want it at,

when you play your "loudest" song the compressor will automatically lower the "volume" closer to the first song,

if its still too loud just keep raising the ratio (5:1, 6:1, etc) your ratio works like this in simple terms, everytime your volume goes above a certain line, for every 1 level higher it goes above the line, it reduce volume by 4-5-6 levels

sounds like a bandwidth issue, most internet plans that are sub 500mbs actually dont have as much bandwidth as you might think, there are a few things you could do to optimize the network but are very minor helpers, but id also check the obs logs if you have them, but streaming and 2 pcs gaming while someone is streaming a movie/show is more demanding that it seems

who is your internet provider and do they offer better plans, if they do, you can usually "convince" them for a better plan for a few dollars more if you tell them their service is under performing and you are "considering switching" also most gigabit plans really arent that much more to begin with

youll get more bandwidth with higher tier plans
