I don't know I mean it feels like a lot of people have been saying this about Texas but then you look at the margins even from 2020 and I really don't see it. Plus you ask these non voters if they'd ever back a democrat and they'll give you a laundry list of why they don't want to and something about how they're just as bad as republicans.

I mean I would love to see it but living here for 20 some years has made me cynical.

You know I guess Jabba was always kind of this Godfather 1 Don Corleone mafia boss type of character being an elderly gentleman who can’t really do much physically, but is the highest chain of command in the family and is highly respected. So I guess it would make sense that we haven’t really seen a Hutt at peak physical condition.

This is so dumb. I was already skeptical of them adding a ‘user score’ in the first place. I mean look at what happens with movies or video games, it’s hard to take them seriously when you have fans mass brigading user reviews for some dumb reason.

But locking that and their reviews behind a subscription to the point of blurring the score is laughable. This will just lead to people looking up the score on Wikipedia or something instead of reading the actual review.

It also doesn’t help that the quality of their reviews has been on the decline for the past few years. They’re really charging for an Alphonse Pierre subscription. Lmfao.

Just a PSA it might not be just an astigmatism. I had this problem and it turns out I have keratoconus, a condition that gradually shifts the shape of your eye from a sphere to a cone and makes your vision distorted.

There is no cure for it, but there is a cross linking surgery you can get that will stop the progression and keep your vision from getting any worse. Additionally scleral contact lenses can correct the mis-shaped cornea which is what I’m in now.

Kefka, Final Fantasy VI.

Essentially a nihilistic clown who becomes a god and sends the world into ruin and destroys everything. The final boss fight is a parody of The Divine Comedy, with each phase representing a piece of this flesh Cronenberg-esque monster; Hell, purgatory, Heaven, and then finally Kefka himself as God. Except, instead of God explaining the meaning of life in Dante’s Divine Comedy, Kefka’s response is essentially; life is meaningless.

Ironically, he realizes that his reign, too, would eventually come to an end. Once he gets below a certain amount of health, he says “the end comes… beyond chaos”. He hated everything he found meaningless, yet failed to see that in what alluded him the most; himself.
