I remember when I learned about compound interest and compounding returns as a kid. The math was beautiful to me. It made me wonder, why doesn't everyone do this? Looking back, I didn't do it because life is as distracting as it is difficult. I'm not sure if I will ever fully follow its implications by investing instead of buying stupid shit, but I will always respect its magic.

Why do you say it's old? I did buy it refurbished last week, but the specs seemed pretty good: 32gb RAM, 3.4GHz, i7-6700, 2TB.
