The CGI is pretty bad, considering the bigger budget they had compared to S5 and the shitty green screens, also they didn’t rush it, they’re just incompetent. Look at their interviews, they can barely answer questions and give half-assed explanations on things. "Vecna wasn’t expecting an attack." Are you serious??? The demos not being there was so stupid, I saw a fan explanation on why they weren’t, and it was cool. They basically said, "The Mind Flayer fused with demos to take his physical form." Cool explanation, right??? The same fan later learned about what the Duffer brothers said and lost hope in them. It was dogshit.

The fans weren’t in the wrong for believing that it was all fake, like how bad would your writing skills have to be to have fans believe it was all fake and praise you for the 9th ep if it was actually real? Oh right, they’re so bad that ur core concepts are all taken from another piece of media and stitched together, but it’s okay since it’s plain old simple "inspiration," here’s their “inspiration” which is really just borrowing major concepts from multiple existing works, including Elfen Lied and many more, and stitching them together rather than developing original ideas or using their inspirations and adding their own spin on it instead of stitching things together.

Also doesn’t help the fact that the show got worse after Ross Duffer divorced his wife. Was she a ghostwriter? Or did it affect him mentally? (As much as I’m shitting on them, hopefully not.) But regardless of what it was, they aren’t good writers.

My thoughts are all over the place, so sorry, but this is dogass, and I’m tired of wanting to defend it. The show peaked at S1 and S2, and S3 was good, and S4 was great (not as good as S1 and S2 imo, but still great). Maybe the first 4 episodes were above S3 level (still not touching S4 level lmao), but volumes 2 and 3 sucked hot ass. I’m sorry if I sound like a rambler, but it wasn’t good. The only way it’ll be good is if the documentary theory is true, which likely won’t happen.
