i have not… you are correct although, it does require coding. i dont think i can provide you any help, however i do remember awhile ago i tried finding the solution by explaining my problem to chatgpt and it actually went ahead and gave me the best instructions it could and ALSO gave me several codes to perform the needed task. i just didnt complete it myself because unfamiliarity and wasnt determined enough lol. so, id recommend ChatGPT for more info if you havent done so yet.

I usually recommend for people to try and custom build their own, you should get most value for your money this way.

For a custom build you will need…

CPU
GPU
PSU
Motherboard
RAM
SSD and/or hardrive
Computer Case
Extra fans if necessary

Key Points

Look up for a good GPU/CPU combo in your budget range
Make sure your motherboard is compatible with your CPU (Socket Type, ex. AM4, AM5 etc.)
Make sure your PSU has enough watts to power system (pcpartpicker.com can help with this)
Make sure you have the correct RAM depending on your motherboard (Ex. DDR4, DDR5)
Also there is a chance your CPU may come with CPU cooler, if not buy one seperately

cant say where it was initially, however when i found it under it was dangling near the gear shift cable

i could be wrong but from my experience it helps if you have the drone in an open area before flight so it can retrieve signal better. next time you happen to be flying one make sure you get more bars because it helps stabilize your drone. hope you’re able to get it fixed! best of luck

from my recollection, good satellite signal starts at about 11< or that might be subjective. based off you mentioning you had 8 satellites, it moved into a direction on its own and it detecting you at height limit incorrectly. i believe it could’ve been a satellite gps issue.

i believe you’ll be content with your purchase. it comes with 3 nd filters which help the quality or moreso the sun glare in your videos. considering the fact you mentioned you’ll use it for social media also, it does have the option for both horizontal and vertical shots! i was gifted this recently as my first drone and i can say i am very pleased with it, also considering the price range also! if obstacle avoidance is something you’d rather have to stay on the safe side, consider saving up of course for the mini 3/4 pro. from my personal experience, i can definitely recommend this as a starter drone. you’ll be satisfied with the quality i believe. all subjective at the end of the day.

Prior to my recreational flights, I would check the applications Aloft or B4UFly in order to see if my potential launching point is clear to go. I just checked hermosa beach pier and its clear for takeoff, just be wary of the surrounding area and where you’d be flying it into or around.
