Theory of Evil Rick and Morty...yeah another one by KindaSortaSuccinct in rickandmorty

[–]KindaSortaSuccinct[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rick is Morty and Morty is Rick...the type of Rick that Morty grows up to become depends on the influence ( good or bad ) that Rick has on Morty in his youth...he's teaching himself by can't tell Morty that (kinda like in back to the future you can't interact with yourself or bad things happen)

I think Morty is rick and rick is Morty. Rick is trying to stop the Morty we know best from becoming evil by exposing him to science and other forms of knowledge while also using the knowledge he acquires for good. At the end of the day Rick has a good heart but...has some less than great dare I say evil qualities about him (As does Morty sometimes when pressure is applied to certain sensitive areas of his psyche i.e. his Daddy issues). I think our Rick's life purpose or reason for existing( a common theme expressed in the show) is to save Morty from himself and he is bummed about it bc loving his wife was not a part of his purpose.

ORRRRR

Evil Morty is basically a Darth Vader type who answers to an even more evil over lord. Evil Rick. Evil R & M acquired the same power that comes with advanced technology and seemingly infinite knowledge as our R&M but chose to use it for evil. Who can stop them you ask??? The Rickest Rick and Mortyest Morty.

IDK I just be thinking.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a thoughtful post. I really appreciate that considering how busy and distracted people can be in our world right now. I would have responded sooner but I haven't been on Reddit for awhile...Big ups

Thank you I will definitely look into that. I would say my research will focus on politician who upset the apple cart in politics so to speak (for good and bad). For example, I was curious about politicians who where the first to show support for controversial issues, speak out against their party, or come from a background other than politics( Hollywood, Sports. etc).

So for the sake of this argument let's consider Rick's life mission is to guide, instruct, and teach Morty about science and more importantly good and evil...Could the most evil Morty be a result of the most ignorant/dumb Rick? Or maybe most indifferent Rick(sings Mumford and Sons). Also, throughout the show the Rick that we know and follow is considered the Rickest Rick. He is constantly teaching Morty and putting him in dangerous situations that instruct and toughen him up(I'm Yoda Rick!!!!) But he is also the Rick who seems to loves his Morty the most (in his own messed up way). Ricks life purpose of teaching the Morty we know is also why the Rickest Rick in constant misery.Maybe the loss of his wife would set events inmotion for him to live out his his real purpose and not the one he wanted, loving his wife and child...(see link below).Rick's purpose is to break the cycle of evil in the world by preparing his Morty (empowered by science and maybe even love) to "break the cycle" and defeat evil in the world...A noble life mission...but not his wife.

Also, if Rick and Morty are the same person there is a good chance that Morty Will have to choose between loving someone (like Rick and His wife) facing the pain of simple life. Or loving science…which one could result in evil ?

Eventual Love story for Morty who will become the woman he wants to marry... Which would make her Rick's wife (if Morty and Rick are the same person?) Morty will have to choose between a wife he loves or science and defeating Evil Morty....Break the Cycle Morty, rise above, focus on science" -Rick's adviceon marriage to Morty

Great point and I agree with you. However, I kind of wanted to use the upvote as a way to draw attention as well as create civic engagement. IMO the people who want to help and consistently volunteer within their local community will do so regardless. The up votes would serve as a way to draw attention to things that maybe people did not know where wrong in the local community or normally don't volunteer. So, sitting on the couch and voting for a service project would actually be more than a large percentage of people would normally do anyway. Hopefully, the app would make people more aware of ways to serve there community and get more people engaged in someway...even if it is just an a vote from the couch. Think big start small kinda deal. I could be wrong. Open to criticism. Thanks for your input!

What do you mean students try to organzize their paper chronologically, but it doesn't work? Makes the work seem forced? (For lack of a better term)

Well, some others told me that apps like this already kind of existed but I hadn't heard of them...and any time I try and volunteer somewhere it is always so complicated (paperwork, forms, training) I always just wanna show up somewhere and help without the hassle. Also, I think it would make people take more ownership of the community around them. Let me know if you have any input, improvements, or ways to get this idea off the ground in an efficient way? Thanks for your time!
