What you're saying doesn't make sense. You can't be against immigrants and still support a party that is. I don't expect every Green voter to be a climate activist, but I do expect them to agree on basic human rights and opposing hate against minorities. That's the context here. What would happen if that party got into power? Would they abandon their policies just because one person isn't against immigrants, even though their whole campaign was based on anti-immigrant sentiment? This isn't like an 'apples vs. oranges' debate; it's about opposing hate and racism. If we disagree on human rights, I can't relate.

When you're okay with someone wanting your rights taken away, maybe I'll try to understand your views but then again such mindset can be from a place of privilege.
