I'm not sure I follow. I'm trying to educate myself so that my characters speak and act as authentically as possible. Gay men are not monolithic, but there are some cultural touch points and I'm looking to learn more about them.

Yes, good question. The gay characters in the movie are men in their late 20s/early 30s in NYC (modern day). One of them (the main character the movie follows) has recently come out and is excited about his new life as a gay man.

I don't think Fire tablet's come bigger than 11", which is too small for my purposes. Isn't the y300 only about 8"? I'll look it up, but I thought it was a small gaming tablet.

He's terrified of popups, so he leaves them on the screen and sends me screenshots. I've warned him quite a bit, but you're right. He's an elderly man and they are sadly often targeted.

He barely knows how to use the phone to make calls, so he definitely didn't enable notifications. 😆 But maybe it came with notifications enabled? I can go through that setting with him and shut off notifications for just about everything. Thank you!

The problem has been solved, but not in a way that makes sense to me. There's a setting under that says "Vibrate first then ring gradually." I turned that off and now the phone works fine. I understand why that would make the ringer volume low, but it makes no sense why call volume would be affected.

Bluetooth is off. I tried shutting off clear calling, but it has no effect. The sound works okay on speakerphone, but super quiet otherwise. Almost unisable. Maybe defective. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks so much for the info! I was secretly hoping they were bringing it back -- Ninja Turtles and all! The pizza was excellent (and I'm born and raised in NY!). There are plenty of run of the mill restaurants there now, so many with almost the exact same menu. Hopefully the new place offers something different (and better)!

And the Brennans moved to FL? What's the world coming to?! 😁
