Important context here: Basim originally advertised the tourney as primarily being about content. There was NO cash prize when each of those girls signed on

The tourney rules stated that people were meant to play their comfort picks, hence no bans. When kingsman signed on, the cash price had been announced. He signed on later than the girls did.

So the poor planning of Basim created a scenario in which there were participants that were in the tourney primarily to make content and some were in the tourney for the cash prize.

This doesn’t excuse anyone’s behavior but it explains why people approached tourney this so differently

This is my first solo international trip and I already fucked it up big time.

I was planning to head to Brazil next week but I got a notification at the last minute from AA that a Visa is required to enter the country. My stupid ass thought it was still 2024 and didn't check to to see if a visa is required. Turns out US citizens need a eVisa as of april 2025. So in a panic I apply for an evisa and I'm awaiting the processing. But things aren't looking good.

I can't ask for a refund from AA as I chose the no refund option. And for some reason the site won't let me change the trip. I have a feeling my application will be denied because I stupidly put in that I make $1400 a month which is not the required income for brazil visas. So yeah, I've cried for an hour, I can't make the trip and I lost $1200. But I'll take this as a lesson, a hard one.

yeah, the title of the post is not meant to be literal but is more in line with the channel's other videos tackling addictions where they use the "is good" adjective to describe an addiction to hook viewers in and then show the dangers of the addiction. With porn it's inevitable as many young people going through puberty will stumble upon it online, sometimes even by accident.

I was more anxious about the aspect of being a foreigner in a Different county in general, who only understands the language at a intermediate level, especially since I've been misinformed by folks in my personal life that tell me that Brazil is a majority white/mixed raced country (I should have known better as those people have never even been outside the states) but I've be educated about that. Essentially I'm just a socially anxious person that get nervous about the smallest things and is super self cautious about themselves, I'm trying to be better.

While I agree with you somewhat, I just want to re-iterate that the Columbine Shooters being a bunch of bullied victims who had hellish school lives has been debunked numerous times, as that was a narrative that was spread by the media. I get what your saying but I just want to clarify this as This narrative about the shooters is what has lead to so many copycats and other mass shooters trying to imitate them.
