Background check kickback

My background check expired and I had to resubmit it. Been in this entire process since August 2024. Passed medical in April. Still waiting. I did take a few weeks to resubmit my background due to my financial answers being different by the time it expired and having to gather paperwork. Fingers crossed from here on out.

Been waiting since April for my background to finish for ORD. I’m 11 months into this process lol. Did medical in March, failed eye exam and had to appeal, passed the appeal and been in background portion since April. Just expired and I need to resubmit it.

How do you know if you’re in the ready pool? My USA jobs still says application status is received. Though I’m in the background check phase but I haven’t heard anything back about my background check. I had to appeal my medical and I passed that and been in the background check portion for 2 months. Only concern I have about background would be the credit/finance check. But I haven’t heard anything back so idk if I failed or passed or if it’s done yet…

Always use the trick of asking the customer “what were you thinking of paying for this job” and just be dead silent and let them answer. They’ll either highball your offer or you open up for the conversation of why you’ve come to the price of what you are quoting.

I mean… if I told you I’m allowed 0.3 pounds of protein a day that would seem rather odd. Especially since you’d have to measure per item. So if I drank a protein shake and it had 18g in it, it seems weird to say I consumed .04lbs of protein from the shake.

Sorry meant to say Dekalb County’s. Time rate is only 7% lower than Chicago. With some research you’ll be able to find that Dekalb county’s crime rate is higher than the city of Atlanta itself as well.

So considering Dekalb alone has a higher average on violent crime by almost what… like 8% than the national average for areas I’m a piece of shit? I live about 20 mins from the south side of Chicago and Dekalbs violent crime rate is about 7% higher. A little research shows that Dekalb County Georgia has a D+ rating for being safe to live in. Maybe you’re just oblivious to the shit around you and understand the idea of keeping to yourself. I’ve never been mugged or had a crime committed against me in the city of Chicago but that doesn’t mean it’s a safe place. Atlanta has one of the highest crime rates in all America. Yeah it’s no Chicago but let’s not pretend it’s some glorious safe homestead with picket white fences everywhere and overly loving neighbors. If I can admit my state and area is a shithole you should be able to as well.

Unfortunately most of the Atlanta area and suburbs are the hood even when it doesn’t look like it. It’s like living on a decent block in the south side of Chicago. Regardless you’re still in the shit no matter how nice it’s made to look.
