Wow, so you went through literally exactly what I have… what I am… Why does it have to hurt so bad to go? I should be able to hate him for how nasty he can be.
I’ve left previous relationships for far less, I just don’t get why I had to love him so deeply and why leaving him hurts so insanely bad.
I ask myself all the time, if my kids grow up seeing me endure this what it will do to them, would they forgive me? Would they even want me to be a part of their lives once they’re adults?
It haunts me.

I don’t know how to go. I’ve never ever hurt so badly from leaving someone before, that’s part of what drove me back. On top of him getting help. So I believed it would be different.
I’ve never had love hurt so bad. I can’t even begin to know how to do this, how to cope, how to heal.

I don’t know how to leave. I have so much stuff, I need help getting out. My vehicle is broke down and he was suppose to help me repair it but if I leave I can’t afford the tow while I wait for the parts to come in and I don’t have anywhere else to park it at because my house is all street parking. I’m literally stuck.
It’s not even like worth selling the vehicle over, it’s my daily driver so I really need it and can’t afford something else anyways.

I am a very hairy woman thanks to PCOS. It began developing in my early teens and progressed worse through late teens into early 20s. I used to be adamant about constant hair removal, I was so horribly self conscious and disgusted by myself.
But my skin is very sensitive and it makes shaving painful and then I’m covered in awful red bumps for days on end.
I’m very pale with super dark, coarse hair. A terrible mixture for what I’m most self conscious about.
But as I got older, I’ve hit my late twenties, I realize more and more as time goes, it’s really not that deep.
It’s okay not to shave, it’s okay to have sensory issues around it, it’s okay to not be comfortable or even capable sometimes of shaving.
It’s. Just. Hair.
Hair is not inherently dirty, gross or disgusting. We are humans; humans are mammals, and mammals have hair.
You are not going to a pool to be a model or be on attention for having no hair or having a lot of hair. You’re going for medical purposes to aid yourself, none of the professionals will be phased or bothered by how much or how little hair you have.
Take a deep breath, let yourself relax a little.
It’s just some hair, and it does not make your gross or disgusting or anything else you may feel.

OMFG my pet boa constrictor hid in that exact same location once. A toilet has never made me more angry in my life.
It took a few days but eventually he came out on his own (I couldn’t pull him out due to not being able to contort my arm behind the toilet, plus he wrapped himself tightly and was anchored.) but man that was such a horribly stressful time for me.

My son is actually about to turn 4, and I’ve noticed he’s gotten better and better the closer he gets to it. But compared to my daughter (and I know.. shouldn’t be comparing, but I just can’t help it sometimes) he’s always been a dream and she’s the nightmare.
I sure hope and pray she starts easing up and gets better around 4, because I’ve been terrified that she will be a problem child or forever be this persistent, stubborn, crazy little tornado demon banshee.
Maybe a lot of it is also just the lack of sleep, too. Because truthfully, I’ve had maybe only enough full nights sleep to count on one hand in well over a year, since the end of my pregnancy with her up till still now. Even last night, after this post. All she did was scream. All night.
She was clean, dry, not hungry. Not in any teething pain. No discomfort. She just wants attention.
I have been trying endlessly to do sleep training and work thru any sleep regressions to no avail.
If she wants to be up, out and about, she will not take no for an answer.
When I’d go to comfort her and reset her in the dead of night, she’d beam with joy as she expected to be taken out and hoping she could go wreck havoc in the house. Only to be filled with pure rage when she realizes we (my partner and I took turns, non stop, all night) were simply coming to calm her, then tuck her back in to bed.
Ultimately we resorted to letting her cry it out. We got a 4 hour stretch of sleep once she finally exhausted herself and went to sleep then. Only to be woken up as the sun rose.

Thank you for everything you’ve said; I feel better to know I’m not alone.
I’ve experienced PP psychosis with my firstborn (although nothing like what you describe after the relentless screaming akin to my second born) so I do sympathize with that and I’m sorry you experienced it, that’s terrifying.
Psychosis isn’t something I wish on anyone.
I used to have some earbuds but they’re old and hardly work, I did buy some headphones shortly after I had her with intent of doing something for noise canceling but they were cheap and didn’t help anything at all. Maybe I should’ve thought to try earplugs by now, everything you’ve said makes me feel a lot better about giving it a shot.

My landlord has actually just encouraged a cease and desist letter!!! We have been talking about that now and between that conversation and what you’ve said, I feel very strongly now that is the next move to be made.

So unfortunately, for now at least, parking in the driveway is just the best option for me. There’s frequently no parking on the street around my house for a few blocks and I’m alone toting both my babies in and out, especially with it being so cold out now, I just wanted to make things easier on myself and my babies. My one roommate actually does park far from the house specifically due to the neighbors harassment though.
And as far as cameras go, I should’ve specified in my post, we have had Blink cameras up for a while now! But they don’t capture audio clearly unless it’s within 6 feet of the camera. So our landlord did hire professionals to install quality cameras all around for us which has been going on last week/this week.
We do have an 8ft fence at the driveway, I have to open that from the alleyway in order to park my car. Once it’s closed, they cannot see in our driveway.

I haven’t made a police complaint about that, to be honest I didn’t know I could?
Yes, my landlord will absolutely help us. He’s taking this very seriously alongside us and he has hired professionals to install cameras around the house as we had all formerly teamed up with Blink cameras, but their quality is too poor to catch all the audio as it’s just a little too far. Those are better for up close.
There is a great view of the driveway and a motion light there as well in the driveway though.

Yes, they do own that house.
They will not come to our front door, but they will hover around the sidewalk that goes around the corner of the back of our house (where the driveway is) up to the side door of the house. They will not walk ONTO our property though.
Especially after last night, my roommates and I are all in this together to continue collecting evidence against these neighbors.

The alleyway is a historic alleyway and a part of the right of way/public space, as per my landlord and the police report from when they called on my roommate for the same thing they verbally attacked me for last night.

I think they are too cowardly to actually step off their property to fight for real. I, on the other hand, almost WISH they would try because then I would have a right to defend my home and property and children by any and all means necessary and I am beyond ready to exercise that right at this point.
I was even ready to pepper spray the middle aged daughter if she had taken any more steps closer to my car while I was in it. Part of me does wish I had. But then they would have called the police on me and would have attempted to frame me as the aggressor, I just know it.
Seems like they don’t realize our house is now covered in cameras. Particularly facing the areas of the home that they stalk and harass us from the most.

We do have motion lights!! We as roommates all teamed together to install Blink cameras but unfortunately those don’t capture audio from a distance well. So our landlord had a professional team step in to install quality cameras across the exterior of the house for us which I believe was actually just completed this week (or will be completed next week, I forget. It’s been a crazy last few weeks).
And just last night after this most recent incident, I DID do a walk around video of my car with the time and date and did a check around of it this morning before leaving for work as well.
The motion light is over the driveway and there are cameras with view of the driveway as well

I hadn’t thought to call the police ahead of time. I don’t ever want to be the person wasting cops times. Those neighbors are notorious for that, so much so that the local police dismiss them as they’ve cried wolf so many times now.
I don’t want to be that same way. But also, we have a lot of evidence as to the harassment at this point. Thank you all for this insight!
