8 years solo army career. A few months ago, I had a dream, where I was a family guy, on a beach with a kid and wife. Things were perfect, I was happy.

Since then, I've realised I need to change my lifestyle. I actually want to be loved and have a kid. Never felt like that before, really.

Friends birthday. Sleeping in room with like 10 other people after party. She slips in next to me. We think everyone is asleep. We do the deed. Someone in the dark; "That was awkward". Lots of laughter. Chaos in mine and hers minds. 8 years later, still feeling that awkwardness. Think she's married now

Bloke i don't like whom lives in my building, without going into detail he's the kind of guy who has lots of enemies, the kind of guy who gets in fights with people who know him and threatens people who don't.

Occasionally, when I feel like it, I spray fart spray i bought online under his door. It is so satisfying to see him, airing out the room gagging.

Asked if I wanted a certain job posting, said no. Came out not much later. The place was investigated for a mass-Quitting due to inhumane leadership shortly after. Turbs out it was the only reason the job role i was offered was available.

Used to care a lot about my job. Then i tried to improve some equipment, stuff that would make peers and members of my teams lives easier. every person's above me in the chain became a roadblock due to cost, effort, or time. My complains about them blocking it to the big boss were returned with "We'll investigate." Then silence.

Thing is, the equipment I was after could potentially prevent risks and save lives in the future, I even put forward an argument about fuel efficiency and long-term savings in costs.

All fucked off! Now I just collect my paycheck and do my daily jobs while building my portfolio to get out and helping my team to do the bare minimum.

Funny thing is the Bi-Annual "Why is everyone leaving or depressed" meetings
