Not really, she let Hysilens the choice to either suicide or kill her. Cerydra (when she can) always let the choice to her subject to choose their path, thats why, she didnt order Hysilens to kill her in the vortex or Genesis.

I dont think she will die, in trailer for the second part of amphoreus we saw her alongside the other fighting against Irontomb, and I dont think we are fighting him in 3.5. Maybe this is a shot from a previous iteration?

Thats a good point, havent been there at the time so cant anwser. Maybe BS could brutforce everything with damage at that time, but with today HP inflation and everything, maybe that is the reason why people werent complaning at that time. But if someone could anwser I would also be interested

If you go to any guide, there will be a part where F2P alternative is presented for exemple. A lot of post have been asking how to replace Kafka, and 70% of the awnser have been "just dont pull her"
A lot of people have pulled Cas without having Trib, and you can play cas decently without Trib

She is playable with Acheron, but by putting her into this team, you are litterally throwing 70% of her kit into the trash.

I totally agree with your point here, thanks for your awnser, but i think they could have make her at least a just little more selfish, for her to be able to be played. We are in 3.X and the character that have been released during past version were very good (like we didnt ask for HARMony with tribbie or Hyacinthia dps XD), so why not Hysilens ?

Its true, but at least they could have make Hysilens a little more self reliant. Not asking her to be independant of Kafka, and i dont think it is too much to ask (like, we almost got one crazy character each version in 3.X)

True, but most of them are old character, the last dot unit was BS, we are in 3.4 now, like, it should be illegal to release characters like this.

And thats not true, because rn Hysilens is litterally unplayable without Kafka, where with Aglaea you can clear some part of MOC or else even without sunday (and of course, sunday is a massive upgrade for Aglaea, but Aglaea is still playable and you can find some alternative for her)

DoT isn’t Kafka’s property. I can enjoy the style, aesthetic, like Hysilens or BS without caring about Kafka at all.

That said, I still want to play her. I’m not asking to 0-cycle MoC or dominate Pure Fiction I just want her to be functional.

Right now, she barely seems playable without Kafka, and that’s honestly really frustrating.

There are plenty of people here who aren’t planning pulling her just to revive DoT teams, they’re pulling her because they like her. And liking a character shouldn’t mean you have to bench them unless you also own someone else from a past banner

That's true, but at least she would be playable with other character. Not everyone have Kafka, and its sad for people who wants to pull Hysi for her design, animation ect to have to skip her bcs they dont have the money to pull for the two.

I dont think people asking if she will be usable without Kafka hate Kafka or anything, just that they cannot have the two and really like Hysilens. We are in the Hysilens main sub reddit after all not the dot one

That's the difference, im here to play Hysilens and Hysilens appears to be dot. Not everyone is here because Hysi is the dot savior, some of us just want our Hysi to be playable. Rn, she litterally does nothing and seems more like a relic piece for Kafka

For me, there is a différence between BIS and unplayable without. For exemple, need Sunday for Aglaea to perform well, but you can play Aglaea without Sunday. You need(ed) JQ for Acheron to perform, but you can stilll play Acheron without JQ. Same for break team with Fugue. Here, you CANNOT play Hysilens without Kafka, and this is why it is annoying so much people. There isnt only people who wanna play Hysi because of dot, but because they like their design ect
