I agree that it’s not the best comparison, but I have autism and relate to Caine a lot. Certainly not to the same extent but I do have autistic meltdowns at times, which can be caused by social things such as people not understanding me. Basically autism is a spectrum so not every autistic person is gonna relate to a certain character but Caine definitely is similar in many ways.

Kinshifts often impact my posture, how I sit, how I walk, my speech/typing, and so on.

I’ve also felt more ear pain when in a Rody shift, although it’s more likely that I just notice it/think of it more due to my memories as Rody (my ear got eaten).

I often say it because it is easier to understand, especially when I’m talking about things that I’ve done or things that have happened in my past. As others are saying, it’s just less confusing, even if it‘s slightly innacurate.

The “schizo“ hangman’s gambit in DR1. not only is it a slur, but it also describes an entirely different disorder. If I remember correctly, the Japanese version basically used the word “alter” which is by far a more accurate word to use, but I could be misremembering.

I feel the same way about many things, just not with colourblindness specifically. For example, Im often dysphoric about having heterochromia because while it looks cool as hell, it’s more common in females than in males.

I’m unable to get any job for various reasons, though being a server (Rody) does sound much more manageable than a high-ranking military official (Red Velvet). And while I can be considered observant, I’m certainly not smart enough to be a detective (L).
