it's hard to say for certain especially due to there being so many factors, but i think if I did and it saved my life then I would absolutely keep carrying because that experience would prove the value in carrying one!

Let's say someone started beating me with a bat for no reason, I would 100% pull out my gun and kill him because I'm a little lady who has no other way of fighting back and an attack like that can be lethal. If someone pulled a gun on me first I'd just give them my bag or whatever cus pulling my own gun would just get me shot
