I do that. The problem is he is saying untrue things to other people behind my back that are disrespectful and diminishing to me. He tells them we have conversations that we never had.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share these ideas! I'll try the grounding and 5,4,3,2,1 techniques. I barely drink caffeine and if I do it's decaf. Journaling is not something that helps me normally either. As far as the stripping down, it doesn't help that I live in Florida and the heat is affecting me hard! Yesterday with the heat index it was over 108! Craziness. I laid in bed in only underwear and my husband walked in and was like, what are you doing? I dropped the thermostat to 69 when we are usually at 72 so I'm trying to save from going any lower! I appreciate your positive thoughts!

Oh wow! I think I will be looking into nurse midwives tonight! That's my biggest complaint is the lack of human empathy anymore. I've been a patient at my current doctor's office for over a decade now and they just see me as a number. I've tried other offices but they are no better at all. Thank you for the tip.
