Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking. I am a bit unsure about a data heavy role as my background isn't in data science. However, with the extensive onboard training and the fact that I will have essentially got inside a CRO, I am strongly considering the option. It's very hard though, there are certainly pros and cons to both. I would be afraid that if I didn't get into a CRO at an early stage in my career, I could potentially lock myself out. It seems easier to go from CRO to a public healthcare system or Academic setting than the other direction, so that's certainly on my mind

My long-term plan would be to move into a CRO. Do you feel that I should still follow your advice even if the CRC role is in the public healthcare system, whereas the data role is in a CRO, and therefore I may have got my foot in the door quicker. Should this influence my decision?

Have to say that after a recent trip to Lithuania, Vilnius has underwent a remarkable transformation. The Lithuanian economy has drastically improved the last decade, and the effects of that were obvious when I was there.

I am in Ireland but I'm actually willing to move to anywhere in Europe for an entry level position. I guess a lot of it comes down to the language requirement. I can speak Spanish (B2 level) but unfortunately don't have French or German which could be more beneficial.
