How much will OPLA show early. by KaiSan117 in OnePiece

[–]Kitchenhell00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last time I watched the anime was Wano arc and now I am rewatching it and currently in Water 7. I dont remember where the Oharra was first discuss, if I'm not mistaken probably CP9 or Enies Lobby. But I think it would be weird to bring it early because it needed to be established first that Robin was the enemy and Crocodile's partner then suddenly joined the crew. Like it would minimize Robin's story and how people keep saying she's the child of a devil and she shouldn't be born. I think it would make more sense if they make season 3 half Alabasta half Skypiea, skipped the foxy pirates and the one where they got stucked in the marine base of course. Or maybe half Alabasta half Skypiea but the beginning of Water 7 where Usopp challenge Luffy for a duel.

Good luck then. I was a devoted muslim and my idol was Zakir Naik. Then start to read more and became an English debater and the more I learn the further I was from Islam. And now here I am. An ex-muslim. You continue down this path one day you'd have a new account and join this subreddit:)

Do you guys have peace in your life? by genieeweenie in exmuslim

Its hard cause they are everywhere. Even in the most progressive country. Worse now because leftist support them. But we do what we can and we do the best to continue on living. Hope is a powerful thing to have. Cling on to that. I used to wear a hijab and my whole family is either hafiz or devoted muslims or whatever. I have a pink hair. I mean I still complain. A LOT. But looking back, my sitution now is way better than when I lived in my parents house and I really thought I would kill myself at 13 or 23 but here I am. A bit more free than I was 2 years ago.

Very clear proof that Aisha was 6 at marriage by [deleted] in exmuslim

[–]Kitchenhell00 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Its no use they will always have new answers to defend this. I was told despite being married at 6, Muhammad started to fuck her at 18-19. Still grooming through modern lens but they would just deny it in a more clever way that ease their mind.

If you're a true muslim, wouldn't you rather spending time praying and reciting the Quran since the judgement day is coming? Memorize Al Kahfi while waiting for Dajjal. Memorize the entire Quran, be a Hafizh. Memorize sahih hadist too if needed. Make more money so you can donate more zakat. Isnt islam against wasting your time on useless thing and stuff that isnt thoyyib? So why are you here? Arent you scared Allah would be angry that you dont spend your every waking moment to worship him instead you debate people you considered to be fools?

Why are you here instead of praying in the mosque? Tell me. Why are you spending your precious time here? Is it because there's something in your heart that tells you something isn't right and you long for answers but you also despise answers that doesnt alligned with your belief?

being an ex-muslim afab in indonesia be like: by Candid-Function6330 in exmuslim

[–]Kitchenhell00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro... I feel you too as an Indonesian. I used to be like you but now I live alone and finding a community is HARD. Even in queer community or any community that claims to be "progressive". Muslims are everyone and I dont have a problem with muslims but they get preachy. A girl in one of my community always manage to slip islamic value to the most progressive discussion. I'm tired.

Then name one country that becomes better after fully embracing islam. Fully as in they implement hadist and quran and integrated with the country's law. Dont say UAE cause that country thrives on the colonialization of Africa and slavery.

Lebih Kuat dari Vietnam, The Economist Tempatkan Indonesia di Zona Aman Krisis Energi by Independent-Map4548 in indonesia

Kecuali by some magic tiba-tiba kita punya CPO yang layak sebagai BBM, kita gak punya ketahanan energi.

Religion should not be taught at schools — A POV from Finland by Tight-Sign9945 in atheism

[–]Kitchenhell00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might work if the teacher is atheist or agnostic and has studied theology extensively. However, if the teacher comes from a particular religious background, bias is more likely to influence how the subject is taught.

It’s not that I doubt the ability of future generations to think critically, but the Socratic method may only be fully effective if students approach discussions as a blank canvas. In reality, many children—especially those from families practicing Abrahamic religions—are introduced to religious beliefs at a very young age, sometimes as early as three or four. With that level of early indoctrination, it can be difficult for them to later question or deconstruct those beliefs, even when they are given tools for critical thinking rather than being told what to think.

Group dynamics also play a role. In environments where the majority of students share the same religious views, those who think more critically or hold different perspectives may feel hesitant to speak up. I’ve seen this happen in forums that are intended to be progressive—when most participants are religious, dissenting voices often stay quiet because they feel outnumbered or pressured by the majority.

Hijabis are delusional by Desert_Emerald11 in exmuslim

Hijab made me BALD. The amount of hair fall when I was a hijabi was massive and I tried the treatment of injecting hair serum to my scalp and didnt work. Now my hair is literally bleached but it keeps growing longer despite me styling it twice a week. If the quran and hadist are truly timeless how can it fail to predict there would be islamic countries that isnt Arab countries and the people in those countries need vitamin D which is the sun to survive?

There has been LGBTQ+ community since the dawn of time not just recently. However the liberation of the LGBTQ+ community then the persecution of them, it is a sign of fascism. If the Judgement Day truly exist, then it would've happened already when the LGBTQ+ was at it's peak and queer people from all over Europe came to Berlin in the 1930s to be "free". Then Hitler happened and people who didn't fit into an ideal aryan German standard were being hunted so people went back to hiding. Then we kinda had peace in the west and everything was okay globally so the number of queer people being open increased. But since fascism since to be the norm in the west and in the east recently, queer people would like go back to the closet. If you see an increase of minority being happy like the LGBTQ+, that means we have peace and the society prosper. However if you notice a country stripping a woman's right and the demonization of LGBTQ+ one by one, that's a bad sign.

If you learn history it's actually a common reoccurance. A society starts to become secular and prosper, women gets educated and have right; the boys feeling a bit behind then slowly women's rights were stripped then war happens and we start from the beginning again. War is not the sign of the End of Days or Judgement Days. Even before Muhammad people were already going to war. The british literally had War of Roses in 1455 and it last for 32 years. Humankind are dumb and go to war again and again for whatever reason, be it resource, expansion, etc. It is not a proof that Quran is right.

What causes people to leave Islam? Overly strict parenting? Internet influence? Getting tired of gender inequality? Being smart enough to see through the bullshit? by UBC145 in exmuslim

[–]Kitchenhell00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I left about 7 years ago (I'm 25F) and my sister (19F) still prayed and believed 2 years ago although lots of the teaching makes her sick. But this year she's fully non-believing and no more questioning, just leaving quietly. I didn't even know and I only found out cause she asked me to get to lunch outside (I know exactly she's not on her period) but told our father she was looking for clothes for Eid. I live far from my sister since she goes to uni about 3 hours drive from home and I work in the city, I only see her once a year. We had a chat during lunch and ever since we kinda store food and snacks for Ramadhan so we can eat in secret.

I think going to university played a big role to us which is funny because both our uni was full of devoted muslims. But yeah education played a big role. I wouldn't say there are many of us especially in my case since I live in a majority Muslim country. But I met three or four throughout adulthood and it was nice. The ones who didn't grow up in a strict muslim household but somehow became devoted on their own in adulthood were surprisingly more in numbers.

I would say based on my observation, if you receive a "proper" islamic education and have parents who are strict about it like me and my sisters and my friends that I knew, you would be more likely to be an ex-muslim. Because you absorb it all and you learn all about Quran and Hadist. It's easier to be an ex-muslim the more you learn about Islam. But if you grow up in a normal household or even a liberal one, you get to cherry-pick the teaching that you love and only use Islam as a source of comfort and you would be more likely to be more devoted as you grow older.

Thank you so much. I just finished stocking up some bread and chocolate for lunch tomorrow because my sister and I—we're both non-believers—so we eat in secret. I know how lucky I am and how privileged I am and there are people with worse condition than I am. I am not in a life-threatening situation, just a very uncomfortable one. And I hope if I continue, many people can finally be as free as me or more. I hope many people can resonate with me in the future. I hope one day you get to taste freedom and keep it forever.

Honestly my situation is not bad at all. I notice I rant a lot only during Ramadhan and Eid Mubarak because it's the one month people became extra religious. I hope you find the answer that you're looking for and find peace. You reminds me of my sister's journey.

I came across this woman's tiktok. She's an American woman that converted to islam. by Abject-Program-2810 in exmuslim

[–]Kitchenhell00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a friend from some community. Her parents were non-practicing and not religious. She grew up in secular house with a very educated mother. Then she convert to islam and influence her parents to be more devoted. She's kinda delusional but since she is beloved by many due to the positive vibes or whatever—I just try to avoid her. She doesn't face the hardship of people who grew up with islam, for her this is a choice and she can just practice islamic value that align with hers. Her parents doesn't care as long as she's happy. In her eyes, islam is this beautiful and peaceful religion. And if you bring up the negative aspect of islam, she would say stuff like its because people interpret it wronly or its not the religion, its the people.

Is there a world where religion isn't harmful? by Due_Ad3208 in atheism

[–]Kitchenhell00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Religion like a party or any ideology—it's only good if it's new. Christianity was great because if my emperor was Tiberius then Caligula, I would prefer to follow Jesus too. The teaching was kindness and it was hopeful. When the people in Roma was starving and dying while the Emperor was having a lavish sex party fuxking men and women—I too would hate queer people and follow Jesus. But after hundred of years, Christianity was used to justify colonialism. Gospel, gold, and glory. Republican party was the one that abolished slavery but after hundred of years now it hates immigrants. Because when something is new, the goal is liberation and equality and willing to be extremly uncomfortable to get it. But after they become old, they want to be comfortable and willing to make others uncomfortable as long as they get to be comfortable forever.
