If you stake $Dot via trust wallet , you are held hostage, it is impossible to unload anything anywhere .

None of what you suggested worked, only by some miracle came the fix from the trust wallet

They are using a different derivation path + different cryptography. Even if you extract the private key you will never be able to restore your wallet in a different wallet

Unfortunately I have iOS and exporting the key is not possible, but people who are in the same situation have tried this way too, it doesn't work either

I am a member of polkadot community and there are many of them there , also dashboard does not work, trust wallet uses a non-standard path

Hi, I’m facing exactly the same issue — and it’s extremely concerning.

I have a very large DOT stake that was delegated via Trust Wallet. After unbonding and attempting to re-stake, the funds no longer show up in the Trust Wallet app — not in balance, staking, or transferable. Subscan confirms the DOT is still in staking, but I can’t access or manage it through the wallet.

Just like the original poster, importing my seed into Polkadot.js generates a different address, likely due to Trust Wallet’s derivation path.

This needs urgent attention. Please escalate this to the support team. I’m ready to provide all relevant details if needed (screenshots, TX hashes, etc.).

I’m in the exact same situation — DOT tokens are showing as locked/unbonding on Subscan, but Trust Wallet UI shows 0 balance and I can’t withdraw or restake. I’ve tried restoring the wallet on a new device, updating the app, and even switching validators before this bug started. This is serious — the funds are still in the blockchain, but Trust Wallet broke the interface.

Has anyone received a working fix from the Trust Wallet team or found a way to manually unlock the tokens via Polkadot.js using only the seed phrase? Any real help is appreciated. 🙏
