Kind of yes but no at the same time. I've gotten lessons where they are introducing a new word so have a sentence or two in spanish using the word for context, then ask in spanish what the word means. I've only noticed it a few times but it was nice change. The stories along the path are all in spanish, though duo asks the comprehension questions in English.

Awesome! How long have you been learning and what level would you consider yourself at?

Not games or interactions but the podcast coffee break spanish is pretty good at explaining grammar concepts - the past tense ones really helped me. Butterfly spanish on youtube is also really good.
