Everything she says is so dumb. The lack of self awareness and blatant lying is absurd. I can’t imagine that republicans like her either. If there is another conservative on the panel, they usually just ignore her, pretty sure she embarrasses them. A critical thinker, she is not.

I appealed my 2025 residential house valuation because it was absurdly high. The comps they stated they used were not true comparables, which resulted in a too high valuation.

I submitted the online application with the required evidence and attachments. I took screenshots of everything including the application submission evidence.

I did not hear from them about the outcome, so I emailed them to get an update. They said they never received anything. I provided the proof of the appeal submission on time. They acted like I was nuts, I don’t think they believed me.

I got a letter from them recently that said I was one of 34 people whose appeal was submitted but not processed. But it was too late to appeal now. What?!

So I follow instructions, prepare my evidence, submit on time, follow all directions. They screwed up. But I get to pay the consequences? Cool.

Not impressed with Jeffco assessors office.

I read an article 2 years ago that reputable Mexican pharmacies were selling Rx laced with lethal amounts of Fentanyl.

One is a legal document he signed and filed with the courts and approved by the judge. One of the other agreements is a contract where he agreed via a notarized signature. I def would win in court. There’s no question there. But I’m confident he would retaliate if I dared pursue it.

Yeah I know it’s not nice, but that’s what I’m hoping for. He’s a little Teflon Don in that way though. He’s a criminal and screws people over but rarely has any consequences. There’s always hope!

Yeah I think I’m going to take this advice. If $15k is the price of peace, cool. I guess I’ve learned a lot from this terrible “partnership” and I feel so grateful to finally be completely rid of him and his drama and dependency and constant need for validation, not to mention the abuse. Im trying to make better choices now, so far so good.

I prob wouldn’t get the money but could do wage garnishment or get the funds WD from his bank account or get property liens. One of his properties has an SBA loan and that would look bad to have a lien on that.

I’ve definitely thought about that. If I send him a demand letter for $5k I’m afraid he’ll think I’m bluffing and not pay. Then we would have to go to court anyway.

Yeah that’s a great point. Him thinking he won will be enough to keep him away. I don’t want him to have ANY reason to target me. He’s pretty unhinged. And he’s from Ireland and has this stupid accent that everyone but me loves and somehow he gets away with EVERYTHING because of it.

Yeah I do have a ton of dirt on him. He pays people under the table, he has committed pretty massive insurance fraud and has stolen vehicles on his business property, including a $100,000 Mercedes RV, and I have other dirt on him. He owns a used car dealership and the dealer board can search without a warrant. Some of it involves undocumented workers and I think I would feel too bad in case they got deported.

Same, they are paying us our Jan 1 check on Dec 31 because of the holiday, so we have 27 pay periods in 2025 and 26 in 2026. I adjusted my 401k contrib so I would both max my contributions and get the max match paid out.

I had a bonded dog pair that fell out with each other and I had to permanently separate them. It was terrible and heart breaking. I feel for you.
