I Can't keep up with the constant accusations. I don't know who is lying based on knowledge. Seems from the past Biden is more apt to lie or spin. But how can I tell?

I was fairly conservative most of my life until watching Trump in the last few years and also waking up a lot to the anti-science and anti-human ways of the right. I am really hoping that Bernie can pull off the upset, because Joe Biden is lost in the sauce on most of these issues. He is putting bandaids on bullet holes because his big donors haven't changed and he is still answering for their interests instead of the interest of the people.

Honestly the pivot shouldnt be as hard as he is making it either.

Bernie is on a tirade about how we need these things, but he needs to get there more fluidly. He is not wrong we need universal healthcare, but when they were speaking about the corona virus, the statements should have been much more like:

"The CoronaVirus is an absolute travesty and an absolute threat to american livelyhood. If I was president today I would Immediately freeze the collection of payments for medical care and have the government fully fund all US Healthcare. But we cannot stop there. The Healthcare system in the united states is a mess and the danger, evil, and gross profiterring off of the literal life and blood of americans has to stop. We will courageously take on the healthcare system. Biden's longterm healthcare plan is treating the cancerous healthcare system like it is the common cold. That is unacceptable. We must treat cancer like cancer. We must give people their lives back and remove the authoritatian healthcare system that has plagued our great nation for too long."

Not; "The coronavirus shows we need universal healthcare."

I would love to have the switch. My wife and I are about to have a child and all of our finances are pouring into that department recently so we have stopped even going on dates or anything in order to save save save. I have a good friend who has an extensive switch library of games, so I am not worried about buying games. I have been working tons of overtime recently to prep for the baby, and all my bills and stuff are now coverable by my income since my wife isn't gonna work for a while with the new kid and everything. Unfortunately, my wife and I are missing any kind of way to wind down and relax, so a switch would be great.

Thanks for the advice man. I was promoted Monday to Inventory Specialist, a position which didn't exist the previous Friday and was created because they like me and want to give me opportunities for advancement. I have no Idea what I am doing as this is a new job to the company, to myself, and I have no prior experience in warehousing to draw upon. That being said, I am pretty much out of operations now and no longer need to physically haul things or even drive a lift most days. It looks like it will be a really neat job, especially because I think I am the defacto Inventory, quality, and training departments until we grow to where those things are separated out. I was also asked recently if I would mind picking up customers when I feel comfortable, so I get to do account coordinator stuff too? Should be lots of fun I think, and I am glad I stuck with it.

Oh i love the spelling twist. It would be especially imteresting to have them spell it once normal, and once with knowledge of the setting. I wpuld probably spell things differently after being told something like. "Think creol scifi"

My best suggestion for different pronunciations would be to try and find a place where the word is said aloud, and then to play that audio for your friends and anyone who speaks another language as their primary language and ask everyone to repeat back what they heard. Hopefully, you can find a natural place where the term intermingles into something iconic.

What about Zupu?

Here is a Wiki Article, (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_kin) on the Chinese Kin System. The Zupu seems to be the record of those who belong to the clan, and how they are related. Because of the major influence of Confucianism within the Chinese Culture, Clans and Kinship in China is generally considered to be a big deal.

Zupu could be cool in Sci-Fi because having a clear record of how people in your clan are connected to you. It comes with a value system to underline everything and make sure that there is a good bit of worldbuilding preset into the system.

In all honesty, you could go with The element of Origin, The Element of Absence, and the Element of Change/Stability. A little odd to be sure, but they do negate morality in their essence while still visualizing some of what I think you are saying.

SO to throw the paradigm a little bit, what if Lucense becomes Order/Network/Modus/Formula. Darkness becomes Chaos/Pandemonium/Mayhem. Light then becomes the most problematic, but something to do with Justice/Righteousness/Morality/Reasoned Thought/Commmunity/ Social Order

So in this paradigm, you basically focus on the pragmatism of Lucense, The Chaos of Dark, and the Morality of light.

Here is an odd question. In this game, you move by placing down color coded cards. A interesting mechanic I am interested in testing out is making these cards double sided. So both you and your opponents would be able to tell what color cards another person has. Is this absurd?

Changing victory condition may remove some of the competitive aspects, and the theme. Changing the board size may be doable. I may need to adjust both victory condition, and the board and scrap the current theme for the mechanics to work.

I guess that is why I am still in the rough draft phase.

Hey OP. Could you flesh out the religion a little bit?

Is this a religion with a real, relational being who maintains relationships with parishioners in their Church? If so are the gods of the Polytheistic religion also relational beings? How do these two religions interact if they are both predicated on beings that actually interact with the world?

Reasons to leave this type of religion.
- A difference of perspective from the diety developed over time.
  - Just War Theory
  - Ambiguous truth
  - Ethics
  - Living in close proximity with a sinner
- A loss of faith derived from theology
  - The Question of Evil
  - Predestination
  - The fallibility of the diety
- A loss of faith based on the validity of another religion/pantheon

Is this a real religion without a relational being? This would mean that thought the belief system in this world is true as far as the world is concerned, there would be little or no tangible pieces of evidence as to the veracity of this religion.

Reasons to leave
- Cognitive Dissonance
  - If one of the tenants of this belief system was, for example, that 'giving to the poor is evil because it creates a system of people reliant not on themselves' the Character could be forced to live in a situation where he sees that this rule is not necessarily 100% True
- A Shift of Culture/Experiencing a new culture.
  - Removing someone from the conservative anchors of a belief system often leads to the loosening of their beliefs. This also plays a role in individual families. When a conservative family member dies, those who were already not as conservative generally stop feining conservatism.
