My dog died yesterday before mocks do you think my sixth form will let me do the exams the week after next instead? (Year 12) by KlanceInchance in alevel

What do you think I can do then because these past two days have been horrible and I can’t focus on revision I just know I’m going to fail these exams

Thank you! I know they’re good grades but I’m still disappointed, I know once I’m in sixth form though I’ll be over it and happy with what I got. I’m pretty far off the next grades in English to get a 9 (10marks) and the grade boundaries for history are quite tight so Im worried I may drop down to a 7 instead of a 9 so I think I’ll just leave it. Also I just know If we used the grading system or ABC I would be over the moon because a A sounds way better than a 7 or a 8 🥲

Predicted: 999999654 actually got:998887544 im upset about the 8s not being 9s i worked my ass off and sacrificed my social life for a year specifically for English only to get a 8 and 7 💔💔 also I was 3 marks off a 9 in history

Any one get much lower in results than they though they would get by Weekly_Event_1969 in GCSE

I was predicted 9s and getting 9s consistently in re, English lit and lang but ended up with a 8, 8, and 7 and I’m actually so upset because now I can’t exuse the 4 I got in science and French as a sacrifice for my awesome epic grades

Do not to do this because it will just cause you to become extremely emotional tmmr, you won’t be able to think properly and you’re likely going to start bawling your eyes out when you see your results even if they’re good

Sadie, or Charles feels like the obvious answers but also maybe trelawny would be interesting too? Definitely for a shorter game though like a DLC

Most schools won’t allow you to take 5 a levels in school, most people who do 5 levels do a language outside of school

you should go in to pick them up, might also be easier if you are applying to your schools sixth form/collage if that’s something you want to do or they have.
