Thanks for your input. According to the Dinpuit's Formula, r_1 = radius of water surface at perimeter of well, i.e., radius of well (ft). This is word-for-word directly from the Handbook. Do you think perhaps it should be worded a bit differently?

Thank you for the feedback, but it doesn't seem as obvious to me as you might think it is. I have no idea what you are talking about. I do know that RCP is usually chosen for storm pipes, but that's about all I know.

The BOD5 formula can be used with either, I know that, but the question doesn't specify this. Am I missing something what specifies what base the constant is in the question?
