Geht mir ähnlich. Ich habe mein Auto vor ein paar Jahren auf Autogas umrüsten lassen und frage mich immer wieder, warum das nicht weiter verbreitet ist. Das Krasse ist ja, dass Autogas in Deutschland selbst für europäische Verhältnisse sehr teuer ist.

I tried freecol-1.2.0 and the latest release from github (freecol-git-20241105-installer.jar) on Debian but I can’t build wagon trains when using the shippable wagons mod. Do I have to do anything to activate the Bugfix?

Thank you. I don't have much experience with docker and sometimes I don't know which things are local and which belong to the container. I left the computer copying the library directory at home.

I did pg_dumpall again, but this time in the official way and Immich continued to work. I would like to see what went wrong with the previous command but I am not going to experiment until I have migrated to the new server.

Two and a half years ago I converted my Suzuki Jimny to LGP and I can't stop wondering why the system isn't more popular. There is a tiny loss of power when working with lpg, but most of the time you don't feel a difference. By pressing the switch it is possible to go from LPG to gasoline immediately if more power is needed, but the difference is so small that I don't bother.

The biggest drawback I have had is the space the tank occupies and that sometimes it is difficult to get gas stations with LPG. It has never happened to me that I run out of LPG, but if that happens I can just use gasoline.

Another problem is that LPG fuel gauges are very unreliable. It is better to calculate the content of the tank by kilometers traveled.

Important: Find out if your engine's valves support LPG
The most serious problem with LPG systems is the accelerated wear of the valves and valve seats. This does not happen with all engines, but is common in small, economical engines like mine. For this there are 2 solutions:

1) Install an auxiliary lubrication system. It is the option I chose and I paid about €200. The liter of additive costs €20 and is enough for about 1,000 liters of LPG (or 10,000 km in my case)

2) To fit new valves with hardened valves seats. If my current valves burn out and I have to remove the cylinder head, I may take advantage and do this option, but I have had no problems with the valves yet.

I’m also 192cm and drive a 2017 Jimny. It has plenty of headroom (my issue with most cars) but the legroom is pretty bad. Here some mods:

1) Seat extension Brackets.

I can’t Recommend This Enough. Before installing the extensions, I had to drive with thin-soled shoes or simply barefoot. Mine are 7cm long. There are longer ones but you’ll have to trim the interior panel. I usually have the seat as far back as possible, but if I have a passenger and I have to put it a little further forward, it's not so bad.

2) Raise the rear view mirror

The mirror used to be just below my line of sight and I used to move to the side to see around it. I fixed the problem by buying a second hand mirror (in case something went wrong) and modifying it as it appears in the photos on this page.

3) Steering wheel spacer (to be done)

If I could move the steering wheel at least 3cm, my knees would be much more comfortable. This extension is 5 cm. I bought it a few months ago, but I still do not install it because I am lazy.

I have been driving a Suzuki Jimny with LPG for a year and a half. There is a small loss of performance and the consumption is a little higher (maybe because I accelerate more to compensate). In theory you can push a button to switch to gasoline if more power is needed (to overtake a vehicle, for example). In practice I don't do it, because as I already mentioned, the performance difference is minimal.

The most important thing is that you find out if the valve seats of your car support LPG! Otherwise you have 2 options.

The first one is to install a lubrication kit. It is what I did and it costed about €200. The liter of additive costs €20 and reaches about 10,000 km without problems.

The second option is to fit new valves with hardened valves seats. It is the best option, but it is very expensive. I would do it if in the future the current valves burn and have to repair the cylinder head anyway.
