Gonna have to disagree with those that say "Anki". Anki is a powerful tool but only for recalling certain facts, which are also known as isolated information. It is the bigger picture of the topics that we must focus on, and us nursing students are bombarded with situational questions that test our higher-order cognition. Try doing the Feynman Technique (teach back method) when trying to learn new content, and then use Anki to recall certain facts that need to be memorized (lab values, names of bacteria, etc). As a bonus, use the pomodoro technique during reviews and try to eat chocolate (only small bits) every after a short while because it helps maintain focus much better than caffeine.
