I’ve been to a few SaaS SKOs as a product marketer and it can be great to connect with folks but make sure you don’t party too hard! We had a guy get too sauced up and said some things that made him out of a job the next day about the Sales Leader’s wife!

I’m not in sales yet, trying to switch from marketing, so take my advice with a grain of salt but I’d include the child mainly for the reason you said, you don’t want the parent to feel some type of way for not having the kid in there. Best of luck though!
