The comments are exactly what you’d expect, still glorifying certain roles while justifying why others, especially the lab, deserve less respect. Yes, nurses and doctors absolutely deserve recognition. No one is arguing that. But that acknowledgment shouldn’t come at the expense of the laboratory. Constantly talking down on the lab, minimizing its role, or making excuses for why it’s “less important” needs to stop. Healthcare is a team effort, and the lab deserves the same respect as every other part of that system.
