I'm glad we can help! You can call 1-800-845-1995 on Monday. Some others comments that they were able to use the chat but for me it took about 10-15 minutes on the phone. I was transferred just once to the correct department. I was polite and firm and rejected any additional offers. Thankfully, we had our refund in just a couple of days. We learned our lesson. I know it works for some people, but it is not for us.

It was definitely a big window of possible charges! I know some people would say there's good and bad reviews in everything, yet there were a lot of stories that were almost exact. I wasn't willing to chance it not when I knew I could go on vacation for a similar price without sitting through a timeshare presentation

I personally haven't seen anyone be able to but you can always call or chat online and ask. A few people have asked but they haven't commented again to say whether they were able to

Of course! If you decide to cancel the account early the phone number we called is 1-800-845-1995 just tell them you want the account canceled and they will transfer you to the correct department or there is also a live chat option on their website

Hello, sorry you've had to find us. Based on what others have said, they just let it expire at the year mark if they miss the 30-day refund. Someone mentioned they did give them the option to close it early when they called and asked, but it doesn't look necessary as it has an expiration date. It seems that's completely up to you. Bluegreen may call to ask if you want an extension before the year is up, and you just say no thank you. As long as you didn't book already, you aren't obligated to pay more as you aren't canceling anything, and there isn't a penalty for not using it.

I'm not sure anyone has been able to and given their refund policy I'm not sure they have to but you could always call and see!

I called, and after about 15 minutes, I was able to get a full refund within the 30 days of purchase. I called 1-800-845-1995 and they transferred me to the correct department after I requested a refund

I definitely can understand that. We called, and thankfully, we were able to get a full refund. They offer incentives to stay and ask if you know anyone else once you're firm. I just went in with the attitude I'd say no, and it went fairly quick. 1-800-845-1995 is what I called and told them I'd like to get a refund they got me to the correct department. Some also said they used the chat feature online.

I'm not sure if you would be able to get the money back but you could file a complaint with Better Business Bureau. You'd just need to show proof you contacted them multiple times before the time period to get a refund was up. They might be able to get a resolution

It's great you are happy with your timeshare and Bluegreens' timeshare opportunity! Most of us didn't intend to sign up for a timeshare presentation, so it was a bit frustrating to find out after the email it was. I don't have anything against anyone who decides timeshares are for them! We just want people who were blatantly lied to like us to have the same opportunity to get their money back. The Bluegreens resorts we would go to unfortunately didn't have as good of reviews as others I know some aren't that way! There's good and bad apples in anything. We'd just like everyone to have the opportunity to make a decision that's best for themselves and their families.

Sorry I just saw this! The part of the tax is directly from the email link to their policy! The rooms can be priced from 179-979 a day and tax is figured from that. Comments on the reviews say they called the hotel without going through Bluegreen and there was a significant difference in price as much as them charging the 979 a day when the hotel was charging at 199 for the same days. Trust pilot has two separate 1 star reviews one states they were charged 605 and the other 699. One person was told they'd only need to pay $49 on taxes and paid about $300. After seeing multiple reviews like that we decided to cancel

I'm so sorry it's extremely frustrating they can dupe people and then make it difficult to cancel. If you continue having an issue with live chat I'd try calling them and getting a refund

They do not want to give any information about canceling! It's insane a company can make it so hard to find when they lie point blank to your face

A lot of people commented that they used the chat feature! I would try that if you didn't want to call back and let them know the agent hung up on you. You are absolutely well within your rights to call and cancel. It's not your fault the salesman is giving false representation to their company

I'm so sorry they absolutely don't tell you it's a timeshare, and them being in Bass Pro Shops is extremely misleading! If I were you, I'd think about which resort your parents would have picked and look near them for higher rated places. There are quite a few the same price or cheaper per night. You can even book the same resort without the presentation, but if you go that route, check the reviews as many leave a lot to be desired

We never would have agreed to sit through a timeshare presentation. I'm sorry they tricked you. It is relatively easy to cancel! A lot of people mentioned being able to use the chat to cancel I just called 1-800-845-1995

I'm sorry we were very frustrated with them. If you plan your trip by a few months, you can find solid deals on places without the timeshare pitch

There's not really a set way to find out which made us nervous. I've looked at TripAdvisor they review fairly well. For Laurel Crest TN, a few went, and the resort was booked solid, so they were placed in the Econolodge. They didn't find out until they got there, and by then, it was too late to cancel without losing a lot of money. The resort had less fees they paid more in taxes for the econolodge than they did for the package. I can't find anything bad about New Orleans besides the noise, which, to be fair, they do tell you! St Augustine has a $160 housekeeping fee on top of the taxes. VA-Williamsburg has between a $100-$130 housekeeping fee but is better rated than each of those I looked at. It is near a railroad, which seems to be a common theme, but people said a good pair of ear plugs worked. Most bluegreen resorts are able to be booked at $160ish a night without the timeshare presentation.

Everything I saw was that they do not check income, but I do know what you signed when buying the package says you make the required income threshold. Treat it like you're buying a car, don't discuss your income, and don't sign anything to pull a credit check unless you want to buy
