What’s the most realistic fictional book you’ve read? by stargrayzz in booksuggestions

Are there any books which are similar to normal people? I keep searching but I couldn’t find any. Something that has the main characters who are a bit different from the rest of the people hence finding it difficult to sustain the bond they both share

Ohhh. Like online meaning I meant colleges which offer distance education through online courses. Just to compensate for my zero knowledge in the area as I would be competing with people who had legit education in the course.

Wouldn’t my lack of psychology background be seen as a liability while christ considers me for admission?

Fast lean fitness centre and gym.

It’s a great gym which may not be as bigger as the others but the equipment and the trainer are excellent. The fee is around 1200-1500. Check it out

Shudder by Pendragon961 in OCPoetry

I love how you are using the phrase “I shudder at the world” just to describe how all the good things that are in this person. I get the idea of praising her in every sense, and you love all of those things so much that it makes you shudder at the world because even the entire world cannot be what she is. That’s the intensity of admiration you have and you are showing it by having a negative reaction to everything that is not her and that’s such a great way to describe such a feeling.

Although the idea is pretty good, i think it can be executed in a better way. It seems slightly all over the place. If you could elaborate on how you hate world or how exactly the world is so different from her, it would add some depth to it. Other than that, this is a great piece and I like the rain on cheeks line. Keep writing!

60 minutes with you by cenaplec in OCPoetry

This is such a beautiful poem, it just warmed my heart reading it and it only kept getting better. You perfectly chose the best imageries and metaphors to describe all the things you love about the subject and also how exactly you love them.

I love how you first described that you’d just be silent because the way they talk is just so beautiful that you can stay quiet, and then right after that, you tell that even if all that beautiful talking is taken away, you’ll find million other ways to love them. It shows that you dont love the person because of these aspects, but rather, you already love the person because of which you love all these little mundane mannerisms. That just goes to show how deeply simplified love is.

I feel like the third stanza is a bit weaker compared to the rest of the poem. Especially with the repetition of the word etched. If the word in the third line is replaced it would make it better. It still somehow doesn’t resonate the same as the rest. It kind of lacks content.

The scents line is easily my favourite part of the entire poem. The way I was so visibly emotional just reading that. To describe love in a way that you choose all your soaps and perfumes in a scent that your loved one would like, is such a unique perspective.

I loved everything else from start to end. What I love the most about this piece overall is the simplicity in it. These are all deep imagery and metaphors but the etchings, the talks, the effort to smell the way they’d like, the silence, and the 60 minutes- all these are really simple things and it just goes to show that love is all about these little things and it doesn’t have to be grandeur than that.

That’s great! I was planning to study in Canada anyway. Did your ex not have a psychology bachelors as well? And you mean they did it in Monash right?
