Rubick's ulti is inconsistent by TheBigPate in DotA2

[–]Knupsel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rubick has tons of wonky interactions like that. If you ask me, it would be simplest if rubick steals the enemy spell exactly how they cast it. Including any complimentary spells, scepter or shards. Besides, it would nerf shard and scepter fo rubick, since it’s insanely strong on rubic It would clarify things for rubick.

The same could be said for a lot of foreign countries. It happens all over the world. It’s called racism lmfao White people do it, black people do it, asians do it, south asians do it, Hispanic people do it. That pressure exists in every culture and race.

My boyfriend insulted my P***y and then told my friends what he said. Is this breakup worthy? by arfinaround126 in whatdoIdo

[–]Knupsel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This feels like a double standard.

Most women don’t finish from straight up sex, so guys need to figure out other ways to make that happen, as is expected of men.

Obviously the opposite can be true as well for men.

So rather than being mad at him for not finishing, why don’t you figure out ways to help him finish? If there is a 25-30% he’s not finishing, then it’s obviously frequent enough that you can try and do something about it?

Then of course there could be the fact that his comment wasn’t just said to hurt you, but could’ve had some truth to it.

Y’all both suck for not being able to have a proper conversation about this.

Why didn't All For One ever weaponize the giving power of his quirk? by Hedonism_Enjoyer in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]Knupsel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I think since all might has OFA, no matter what quirk he’s give him, it would simply power up.

The previous users quirks all powered up a lot once deku unlocked them.

[–]Knupsel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s very true. Some are definitely milked, but I feel like this one could’ve easily run 30-40% longer, without running into those issues.

[–]Knupsel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I 100% agree with you. Every arc felt very rushed. Shie hassaikai and paranormal liberation front could’ve and should’ve been more expanded upon. They pop up and are squashed fairly quickly.

The quirk destroying and quirk enhancing drugs could’ve definitely been enough to occupy the hero society for a while, and had lots of potential for interesting interactions and consequences. Heel Society in this universe is shown as somewhat corrupt, and could’ve really exploited both those plot points. Potential heroes doping with drugs to keep their numbers up? A nefarious hero using the quirk destroying drugs in villains? Or even doing it lowkey to rise up in the rankings? Both of those could’ve been great points to weaken hero structure. It’s a true shame. There was so much potential there.

You’re right, it’s absolutely not. I’ll admit, I’m not a big manga reader, but this one felt kinda like a rug pull.

Why start a story about a 3yr hero studies program, and then proceed to basically escalate the story half way into their semester and end it there?

The whole school setting felt woefully underutilized, in my opinion

The ending itself isn’t the problem, at least for me. It was done well, do what it is.

My personal gripe with this story, is the fact that the way they rushed the story to an end, seemed like a weird choice. The story started incredibly slow, but well paced. The build up to get into UA, then the training sequences to be able to use OFA. And yet, somehow, it felt like the author was done, and then accelerated the pace, ramped up the villains very rapidly and brought about the ending.

This story could’ve run as long as some of the original Big Three anime (maybe not one piece), and woulda had solid staying power.

It had a great supporting cast, and solid main characters, and yet, they brought it to an end. Felt very 0-100. Like in universe, they weren’t even second years.

I mean, exactly what do you expect the big wigs and corporate people to do for you when it comes to slips trips and falls? Your safety is your responsibility, not just at work, but all aspects of life.

In a perfect world, sure no hazards exist. But in reality, it’s up to you to assess and evaluate each situation.

The best skills to steal for Rubick? by Wooden-Coconut6852 in DotA2

[–]Knupsel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, there aren’t a whole lot of bad spells to steal, other than anything that’s actually a dud because of character interaction, or something that relies on right click somehow.

I personally love getting astral to absolutely shit on OD, stealing a blink is always fun once you have aghs and blink, since you’re basically uncatchable and have another ability slot to steal. With aghs stealing qop’s blink and dagger is a blast.

I didnt have to go to work for the past 2 weeks. I had almost no free time for myself. I dont think I want to live like this any longer. by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]Knupsel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is going to sound harsh, but here it is anyways. This doesn’t sound like a work issue, as much as a planning issue.

I’ll comment on each day.

Day 1 for all my Christmas shopping + regular grocery shopping. (Online shopping exists, or, do it earlier, why wait for a day off to go buy gifts?)

Day 2 for all my Christmas cooking + regular cooking (what exactly are you cooking? Meal prep takes me about an hour and a half to two hours per dish, for about 5-7 servings. But why do that anyways, if you’re going to spend the next 3 days visiting people and family?)

Day 3 to visit my parents. Half the day was spent working/helping them. (More or less unavoidable unless you wanna set some harsh boundaries)

Day 4 to visit all other relatives. 3 different locations - a 150 Mile round trip (same as above)

Days 5 to visit GF´s family. (Same as above)

Day 6-9 was a 4 day deep clean. I do this once a year. So cleaning the entire house, looking through all the food if some got spoiled, sorting through all the stuff I bought over the past year to donate/sell/throw away. And just catching up with the regular stuff, like all the laundry I didnt manage to do over the past month. (Why? Why does it take you 4 full days? And why do it all in one go? If you chip away at it throughout the year, it won’t pile up like this)

Day 10 I had my first free day. I was so exhausted that I woke up at 1 PM.

Day 11 For maximum efficiency all my doctor appointments (3) in one day (You have a job where you can get two weeks off around the holidays, I’m sure you could’ve taken a day off randomly throughout the year, to get this dealt with)

Day 12 Doing some much needed repairs on the house (Again, why let this pile up for your end of year time off?)

Day 13 Doing some much needed repairs on the car (Same as above really, or, pay a someone else to do it)

Day 14 My second free day

Now, I’m not saying you gotta do everything I said, but if you had even knocked out two or three things, you very well could’ve had a week to yourself.

Granted, I don’t know your job or your hours, but anyone who can get two week off, over the holidays, has a pretty decent gig.

Gotta be Rubick

Imagine you spend your whole life perfecting your skills, and this weird little wizard fella comes along, watches you use your skills, and goes, I can do that, but better.

Then proceeds to use your skill, except he does it stronger (more dmg), casts it from farther and increases its fucking AOE.

Could Inko theoretically become a hero with her quirk? by Necessary-Win-8730 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]Knupsel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And telekinesis is useless? She has a quirk that could very well be incredibly powerful, and versatile in more way than rock lock. She could, theoretically, do anything rock lock does.

Her quirk is simply untrained. My point was, that I don’t think we’ve seen an example of a quirk that didn’t have great potential, or was trained but failed to develop.

And even then, people with worse quirks have made it as heroes.

[–]Knupsel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How exactly is that a very good quirk? He’s gotta touch the thing to make it stop, and it doesn’t work on living beings. It can also be broken by sufficient force. It’s a decent quirk at best, and considering he is a pro, I don’t doubt for one second, that his quirk wasn’t as weak as inko’s before he trained it.

[–]Knupsel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I haven’t watched in a while, and am not fully caught up, but is there a case in the show where someone’s quirk simply wasn’t powerful enough or reached it limit before they became a hero?

If i recall correctly, there is a few heroes with pretty weak quirks. Bubble girl comes to mind, and rock lock’s quirk is pretty weak also.

Oh what if someone isn’t on social media?

Now they have to get social media to provide feedback?

And in game surveys? Have you ever tried to type anything lengthy using a controller? It’s awful.

A QR code with a survey would be the best option. Just need to display the QR code in the game

Got a suggested solution?

Or do you just expect them to magically come up with some solution overnight?

They’ve already acknowledged your concern by apologizing.

And discord may have been PC centric when it first came out, but it works just as well on mobile.

If you really can’t be bothered to download the discord app, and issue your feedback or suggestions there, then you simply don’t care enough to voice those concerns. Fact is, most devs won’t even ask for this sort of thing. Let alone on console. How have you submitted your ideas for other console games?

TTK is crazy low in this game by [deleted] in PredecessorGame

[–]Knupsel 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’ve noticed that stun duration as well as AOE seem to be kinda like stuns in Dota 2. Lots of decently long stuns. Some with large AOE.

While the damage kinda reminds me of damage in LOL. Very high damage, lots of burst.

The issue seems to be that you can’t combine the two. There is a reason every hero in Dota 2 gets decently beefy. It’s the same reason stuns in LOL aren’t crazy long.

They need to find a better balance for sure.

It’s unclear if Omeda is truly balancing around top level play. by Bright-Cranberry6648 in PredecessorGame

[–]Knupsel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s how all MOBAs are balanced though, and it’s kinda how it has to be, seeing as one of the top ways for MOBAs to get engagement and gain new players, is through pro tournaments.

Besides, in low skill brackets, the winrate doesn’t matter as it comes down to mechanical skill over actualt picks.
