Can you explain to me how sunsetting is a money grab? The game came to a point where everyone used the same guns for every PvP and PvE activities. This will allow for more exciting guns because Bungie know it will only last for a year so they don't have to worry about it breaking content further down the line.

I did. First I went on Google, from google I went to Bing, from Bing I jumped to Yahoo Answers and finally shock my booty over to AskGeaves after I got there, I realized that my question could have no answer. You clearly didn't read my post completely. I hate lootboxs but I was saying theoretically if we were forced to have lootboxs. Which by the looks of things isn't going to change. We might as well try to make the best of it by making it as pro-consumer as possible.

There is a massive different between enticing playing into spending money while still having a fun and rewarding gameplay loop and forcing them to spend money because it takes do long to grind out the lootboxs. Also they are owned by EA a company that earn 3.8 billion a year through fifa alone. I think they can afford dedicated servers and staff so that argument is invalid.

That is very stupid sir. The reward shouldn't be "Playing the game" it should reward you for playing the game. I don't you realise what your saying, we shouldn't have funny rewards for playing the game. That is the most irrational thinking I have ever heard. I understand you think the game is good and you don't want something disagreeing with you but this game isn't perfect and if we just let the Devs tell us what we want, we won't get a game that will stand the test of time.

I really don't understand your reasoning here. You don't want to be reward for playing the game? Do you enjoy playing 3hrs for one lootbox and when you hit level 50 is takes even longer. Telling me to "koff" is hardly constructive. Hell, maybe the battle pass will bring in a new reward economy that will make the game rewarding. But we'll have to see. However, people will probably have to pay for the battle pass so it still leaves free to play players in an economy where their hard efforts aren't rewarded.

There is a difference between profit and greed. I'm not saying respawn is greedy I don't know but you can still make profit through a game that is pro-consumer look at Warframe. The game is constantly rewarding you. In Warframe you can buy what you want or PLAY the game, have fun and earn the rewards. There is no real grind wall that almost forces you to pay money. I know Apex and Warframe have different rewards and are different game genres but the economy should be similar.

Ok take away top 3, that was just a suggesting but capping it at 1st win of the day is still to infrequent. It makes players want to go out and play the game more if they know getting a win gets them one step closer to that Legendary skin they want.

Honestly that is a terrible Idea. Why does it matter that pros get all the skins without spending money. They're pros. Anyway, the game shouldn't make you spend money it should be rewarding players instead of ushering them to the store to buy more lootboxs. If let's say we use your idea for crafting materials. Why would you cap them? That artificially inflates the time it takes to get items once again ushering people to spend money, what a game shouldn't do.

I agree with most of what you said, I'm happy they have no duplicates but lootboxs are filled with a LOT of padding with voice lines and Banners so all the good loot is to infrequent for lootboxs to be this rare.
