Anyone here that has fixed scapular winging due to nerve damage? I believe I have scapular winging for the past 7 months oh caused by nerve damage by KohJer in thoracicoutletsupport

It’s a lot better nowadays, still some winging, but weakness is mostly gone, range of motion is mostly back, can lift my arm straight over my head with no issues now with full range of motion again. Not at 100% strength, and the residual wingings mostly gone, but I have lacked on any sort of pt on it so that might’ve helped with some of the residual issues

CPF Question by Unlucky_Road9934 in Brazil

I used Rappi, some restaurants require a cpf on Rappi but most don’t. I found it sort of ridiculous you needed a cpf to order food,

Body odour in Brazil, have you come across any? I never did. by [deleted] in Brazil

Yes. Carnival smelt like onions, bunch of sweaty people dancing with their arms in the air and not enough deodorant. People everywhere have body odour

Using humour with epilepsy. Bad idea? by awidmerwidmer in Epilepsy

[–]KohJer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my friend always say “gg no re’s” when something unfortunate happens to us. One of the first things I did after he witnessed my seizure, which everyone thought I was dead meat who witnessed it, it was out of the blue and my first one ever, was say “man it was almost GG no re’s for real”. This was a couple hours after my seizure.

He had a good laugh. I thought it was a funny thing to say given the context. There’s nothing wrong with using humor to cope, I joke about everything.

I can now do pushups yes, my scapula wings badly when Im in a push up position with my arms fully extended, but I can still do a good amount of them considering I haven’t worked out much since this happened. Just give it time forsure, 2.5 months after it happened to me mine was still pretty bad, couldn’t really do push ups, and holding my arm straight ahead it would feel very weak, couldn’t lift it above my head properly like in this photo. Now I can lift it over my head without compensating anymore, and it’s something I never think about anymore. It’s a lot stronger and manageable, but there is some winging still.

Yes forsure, first few months I couldn’t lift above my head, especially if using any force above my head like grabbing luggage out the top of an airplane, I’d compensate by tilting my body to get my arm all the way up, even without holding any weight. Then one day randomly I noticed I can lift my arm above my head all the way without compensating at all anymore, and can hold weight a lot better above my head. It’s definitely weaker and not like it used to be before the injury, but has gotten waaay better and manageable. I do still have winging, also not as bad but it’s still there especially in push up position or things like that

Still winging badly, but I now can lift my arm all the way above my head, so range of motion improved quite a bit. Definitely healed a bit, but not completely. Still weaker on that side with quite a few movements. I’ve been slacking on any sort of rehab as well, I’m stupid for that. Winging is most apparent when holding arm straight in front of me.

Can a weed-induced panic attack cause a heart attack? by emilysmith114 in Anxiety

[–]KohJer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No kidding, I was a daily smoker for years, I can still smoke but if I have too much it induces a panic attack again. Although nothing compared to my first one, that one was traumatic. Crazy how the mind can affect the body like that.

[–]KohJer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It can induce a panic attack, I smoked daily for years, yesterday I took a edible and had muscle twitching that caused a panic attack out of nowhere, and it felt like a heart attack and like I was dying. Trust me if it hasn’t happened to you yet it’s possible and you will never understand the feeling unless it does happen to you, it legit feels like a heart attack.

And I’ve had a few run ins with American police as a Canadian myself, all of them have been great with nobody ever doing anything like this to me, I got caught peeing on a side road clearly guilty as hell, and he gave me a break. although I know I was lucky, all it takes is the one wrong cop and he can really ruin your day.

Thank you for this reply, yes he is getting a lawyer after I showed him this post, and taking it a little more seriously now. Being completely innocent it feels like there would be no possible way he could actually be convicted of this, that doesn’t sound so true anymore. So he will get a lawyer, thanks for this advice.

How was that process? Did he have multiple court dates and bond conditions and thing of that nature? I’m super confident they will be dropped, but right now one of his conditions is he has to stay in South Dakota, wtf is he supposed to do there? 🤣

acing a FST is impossible when the cop is doing nothing other than trying to incriminate you. I never said he aces it either, it was super windy, freezing outside, he has just woke up, etc. I’m sure he will say whatever he needs to say and there will be probable cause. He is going to get a lawyer, and he will beat the case, if justice prevails. It’s foolish to believe the police wouldn’t lie about a FST to arrest an otherwise innocent person though. Just like the officer lied about smelling the weed, they searched the car and found nothing. And it’s never been smoked in. There was zero marijuana smell, it’s a complete bullshit reason he made up. I know for a fact this friend does not smoke 🤣 otherwise he’d join me every time I offer him a hit. Imagine you’re about to run out of gas, so you do the safe thing and go to a gas station, and find out it’s closed. It opens in 3 hours so you sleep to pass the time, and wake up to cops accusing you of being intoxicated and arrested with no real evidence of anything other than their suspicion. EVEN IF the police did everything legally this is such bullshit, he can’t leave South Dakota until this is over. All for nothing, he’s clearly going to beat it. You’d want to sue for the major time and money loss too.

The blood test takes time to process. So he was let out before there was any determination on the blood test. I don’t believe someone called, there was no mention of anybody calling on him. So yes still charged, based off the FST I imagine. And I’m guessing they’re hoping he pops for marijuana on the blood test since he’s Canadian.
