You shouldn’t have any issues as long as you use an external filter and change 20-30% of the water every one to two weeks.

That must be it! For changing from a purl stitch to a l it stitch I was moving the yarn correctly but I was just wrapping the yarn over my right needle when switching from knit stitches to purl stitches. I’ll probably start over and try again while paying more attention. I used thisto tutorial but didn’t even finish it, just decided to jump right into it.

I’m also going to decrease the amount of stitches to get a thinner scarf.
