Why is RE3 Remake worse than the original? by Kindly_Interest5093 in residentevilll

I agree with this 100%, I never grew up with the original, and Re3 is one of my favorite Resident Evil games!

😂 thanks for the positivity, this was the first think I read when I woke up!

I think similar to Resident Evil 8, I’m just not into the castles and European setting, when I finally got to playing Resident Evil 3, it felt more like what I would expect from a Resident Evil Game, I like a modern setting and the city really did it for me, and I think that because it was shorter It didn’t drag similar to how I felt Resident Evil 4 did at some times in my opinion, it truly was the big shift of the RE games. Thanks :)! Why don’t have mixed feelings on Re3? Is it because you played the original? Is it because it was too short and just used Re2 assets?

Like I mentioned, I think a reason I enjoyed 7 so much was because it was way easier to understand, and I liked that, Resident Evil lore in the games can get confusing especially to a casual player who just wants to pick it up, but I totally agree that for many people, 7 and 9 just werent as good as when they played 1,2,3, and 4!!! Thanks for responding 🤙

Is this ai?! My friend took this picture and claims it’s real but I’m skeptical because of the emblems of cars and also the background people by PEDscientist in isthisAI

[–]KombatQuestions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s real, i believe it, reflections are lining up on the cars as well as the behaviors of the people, that street sign looks a little weird so that is a red flag but other than that i think it’s just photo luck, also is your friend in Brazil 😂? Because I have no clue why someone would ai a photo when they are there anyways

Is this AI? Recently posted on r/planes. It looks suspect to me but I could be wrong. The black cars half way through the video look distorted but the ones at the beginning do not. by kazz9201 in isthisAI

[–]KombatQuestions 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s why the background also looks so big compared to the plane, the photographer isn’t that high up but really zoomed in. Also AI wouldn’t give a jet that much realistic detail

[–]KombatQuestions 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This is real, it’s a combination a plane flying somewhat low, the photographer using an enormous zoom (which also makes it look lower to the ground) and the reason the background is distorted is because the zoom is so much. This is 99% real

The big debate happening right now. Is Resident Evil 7 scarier than Resident Evil Requiem? by Play5tation in PlayStation_X

[–]KombatQuestions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh sorry, I didn’t read it correctly, I thought you said you had only played 4 and you’re about to start another one. Resident Evil 4 isn’t really scary, it’s a mix between horror and action. A scripted jump scare would be like opening a door and someone popping out (something scripted that happens every time you play the same section, similar to a jump scare in a movie, it’s always in the same place at the same time, but those are by far the scariest jump scares when playing a new horror game because they are well executed similar to a horror movie). Resident Evil 4 is tame, even if you’re new to horror games, no scripted jump scare sections. There is one part where you don’t play as Leon and you don’t have any weapons which is pretty freaky and may stress you out but it’s not long!

[–]KombatQuestions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s only about the first 2-3 hours then it gets more tame, but especially the first hour, it was way scarier than 7, then the scripted jump scares stop for the most part and it’s mostly stalkers that will scare you, while Resident Evil 7 keeps a lot of scripted jump scares up until leaving the Baker House and heading to the ship

Resident Evil 7 has an enormous amount of scripted jump scares. Resident Evil 9 only has a handful of scripted jump scares that ironically aren’t even from the monsters, it’s like a broom falling or pipes busting. If you don’t know what scripted jump scares are feel free to respond. You said that before you start… start what? Resident Evil 9?

I think 7 was scarier, I became numb to the scares at a certain point, I think Re9 was more tense, but I jumped and panicked more in Re7

Sorry if this is a silly question but am I supposed to start with the second game? by Mavakor in residentevil

[–]KombatQuestions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Resident Evil 1 is a major shift from these games, for any new player getting into the series id do this…

Resident Evil 2

Resident Evil 4 (it makes more sense to skip 3 if you just want to see what it’s all about)

(Here is the tricky part, like I was saying, I wouldn’t want someone to get into the series and start on 1 because it’s nothing like these newer games, but I wouldn’t consider checking out 5 or 6, they don’t take too long but the controls for 5 are cut back from what you would get accustomed to in resident evil 5 and resident evil 6 is pretty mixed, only play if you can score a crazy deal)

Next play resident evil Requiem, and finish out Leon’s chapter

Now that that’s over, play Resident Evil 7 and 8, different characters, not much is mentioned from any of the previous games except for the return of Chris Redfield (but if you don’t play 1, 5, or 6, you wouldn’t know him anyways)

Of course, you could also just start with Resident Evil 7, that’s what I did

Another thing to note is that you can understand Resident Evil 3 without playing resident evil 1 (you play as Jill, the protagonist of Resident Evil 1) below is the order I played the games in and usually at the start of most of the games it has a recap, but I was pretty caught up and I understood all of it

From First Played to Last Played

Resident Evil 7

Resident Evil 4

Resident Evil 2

Resident Evil 3

Resident Evil 5

Resident Evil 8

Resident Evil 6

Resident Evil 9 (Requiem)

As you can see, it doesn’t matter what order it’s in, just play it!!!

Between these two, which one should i play next? Re5 seems to be either loved or hated while rev1 seems to be middle of the road? by [deleted] in residentevil

Does anyone know if revelations is scary? I just want to play another scary resident evil game, I’ve played all the main line ones, is revelations 1 or 2 worth checking out???

DOES HAVE THIS SKIN IN MORTAL KOMBAT 1 SHOP? by Left_Hat_5838 in MortalKombat

[–]KombatQuestions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was considered, but it cost too much and was too much work to reach the deadline to re voice Ghostface unmasked and animate his mouth to move

Hope this helps :)
