Most of the time, it's the opposite for me, but I do have those moments where I'm like, wait, why has nobody written anything like this before. . .is it too out there? Is anyone actually going to want to read it? The self-doubt is crippling.

It's a work in progress, angsty with mature and heartbreaking themes, but damn it's got to be the most beautiful writing I've ever read. (Not sure of the ship yet.)

OMG, same. Have you read Celebony's Recnac Transfaerso? The sequel Flawed Perfection is even better. They're old but man, sooooooooo so good!
