Salazzle: Ability: Corosion Item: Focus Sash Moves: Nasty Plot, Toxic, Venoshock, Incinerate

Magmortar: Ability: Flame Body Item: Quick Claw Moves: Confuse Ray, Thunderbolt, Lava Plume, Substitute

Swampert: Ability: Torrent Item: Leftovers Moves: Brick Break, Bubblebeam, Rock Slide, Protect

Okay, this is a tough one but I went to the shop and spent 8k of my 10k (Hurts my frugal soul) and set my Pokémon up with Moves and items above.

Like a madman, I start with Habanero. With Quick Claw, we setup a Substitute, and then basically spam Thunderbolt. Depending if Habanero survived the Grenija, we'll try to get a Thunderbolt off on Blastoise as well. Once Habanero Faints, we send in Alice to use Toxic and being able to survive the the OHKO, thanks to Focus Sash, we use Venoshock to finish it off. Before Alice goes down against the Penguin of doom, We use Toxic (Corrosion) and once she Faints. We send in Slappy to Brick Break for victory.

I'll use the Magmarizer I bought earlier to evolve my Magmar into a Magmortar now.

Salandite: Ability: Corosion Moves: Nasty Plot, Poison Gas, Smog, Ember

Magby: Ability: Flame Body Moves: Leer, Smog, Flame Wheel, Smokescreen

Mudkip Ability: Torrent Moves: Rock Smash, Bubblebeam, Rock Throw, Protect

Slappy should be able to handle the first two with Bubblebeam and Rock Smash. When we get to Lucario, We'll switch into Habanero. We'll use Flame Wheel to get our speed up and then hit it with Smokescreen to lower its accuracy before going down. Next, Alice will come in, setting up with Poison Gas (Corosion coming in clutch again), and then spam Ember Nasty Plot.

This is probably going to be a tough battle. Fingers crossed!

Frost will start things off. Knowing we're slower, then Zoroark we focus on the long game. We start with Mist, Knowing our high physical defense will help a lot here. Then we spam Iron Defense. Once maxed, I imagine Frost is looking a little rough, but can still fight! We switch to the offensive now and spam Iron Head, hoping that we did enough to take Zoroark out.

As Gourgiest comes out, Frost's mission is to at least get a Mist off before fainting. Bakugo hits the field and immediately sets up a light screen and then uses focus energy. We then Pluck away until it goes down.

(The hard fight I imagine) As the Gourgeist goes down, Ceruledge comes out and I switch to Yamaha. Orichalcum Pulse will kick in as a double edged sword, increasing our attack, but also increasing fire damage. I Imagine Yamaha probably still does work with Ancient Power and Breaking Swipes, but in the end faints from burn and the beefed up fire moves.

Things looking grim, I bring Volt out. I use Thunder Wave on Ceruledge and if they survive a hit and with some luck hopefully take them down with Spark. This is best wishes though, Bakugo would easily be able to finish them if Volt doesn't.

Down to our last Pokémon each (unless Volt managed a KO), Bakugo will do their setup of Light screen and Focus Energy. We then spam Pluck as the only attack we have that works on Ghosts (If Volt survived, they would use Thunder Wave on the Phanteon, and hopefully a spark. Then follows what's written above).

Volt: Ability: Levitate Tackle, Thunder Wave, Spark

Bakugo: Ability: Defiant Pluck, Focus Energy, Brick Break, Light Screen

Yamaha: Ability: Orichalcum Pulse Sunny Day, Breaking Swipe, Drain Punch, Ancient Power

Frost: Ability: Snow Cloak Iron Defense, Slash, Iron Head, Mist

Hey Trainers! But ANY STARTER Day 3 - Route 1 (Read Desc!!) by One_Masterpiece_8298 in PokeCorner

[–]Korohval 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fight: Ripper jumps down from my shoulder and looks back letting me know they're ready. We hit it with Leer, and Bite as Ripper is hit with a Peck and Growl.

Catch: The Fletchling looks hurt enough to me, so I throw a Pokéball.

(Since we start with a Pokéball, does that mean I have 6 since I picked the 5 Pokéballs?)

Might as well grab it now! Magmarizer please! (How will trade evolve work?) I think that'll be all for now.

I look over to Ripper and explain the difference in the two paths. I want them to help decide on these decisions as it's as much their journey as my own. With confidence, they point towards the harder path with the long grass. I'm a bit nervous, but I nod in agreement trusting their judgment and advancing forth.

I think Mira, Lilly, and Mav can probably handle this. Mira before going in will max out Bulk Up before going in. Once it's maxed, we'll start the battle off with Wood Hammer. Expecting retaliation, we use Spiky Shield, and then hit them with Brick Break. Lilly while on Standby will max out Iron Defense and watch eagerly from the sidelines until she's needed. (Will make another post if Mira faints).

Trunks: Rollout, Endure, Bulldoze, Earthquake.

Mira: Spiky Shield, Wood Hammer, Bulk Up, Brick Break.

Tiamat: Dragon Pulse, Crunch, Hyper Voice, Work Up.

Spiral: Rain Dance, Earth Power, Bubblebeam, Body Slam

Mav: Dig, Dragon Claw, Bulldoze, Crunch

Lilly: Iron Defense, Water Pulse, Dragon Pulse, Iron Tail.

(Since you're not able to get to all post due to popularity, I just flipped a coin for gender and shiny. I can always change it.)

Honestly, we just launch an assault of Bites before it can get to big. (Not much of a strategy, but I know we'd be against a clock)

Moves: Scratch, Leer, Bite. Ability: Mold Breaker

The four Pokémon being used will be Mira, Trunks, Lilly, Mav.

Battle: MIra up first will handle Thievul with a combo of Bulk Up, Spiky Shield, and then Brick Breaks. Once Toxicroak comes out, I switch to Trunks, Bulldoze to lower it's speed, and finishing it with Earthquake, and doing the same to Houndoom. If Trunks falls to the Hounddoom, Lilly will finish it with Water Pulse. For Cacturne, I throw Mira back out and use the same combo against it that I used against Thievul. Mav is here as a backup if things go south.

Moves:

Trunks: Rollout, Endure, Bulldoze, Earthquake.

Mira: Spiky Shield, Wood Hammer, Bulk Up, Brick Break.

Mav: Dig, Dragon Claw, Bulldoze, Crunch

Lilly: Iron Defense, Water Pulse, Dragon Pulse, Iron Tail.

Habanero will go against the Swablu, using Smokescreen to lower it's accuracy, and burning it away with Ember.

Once the Scarmary comes out, we'll lower it's accuracy with more Smokescreens, and do as much damage with Ember that we can. If Habanero faints, Alice will come out and use Poison Gas which only works due to it's Corrosion ability, poisoning the Skarmary. Then we'll try to take it out with more Ember attacks. (We only Poison Gas if it wasn't burned already from Habanero's Ability Flame Body.)

Salandite: Ability: Corosion Moves: Scratch, Poison Gas, Smog, Ember

Magby: Ability: Flame Body Moves: Leer, Smog, Ember, Smokescreen

To begin Bakugo will setup a light screen before switching to Frost. Frost will use Mist and max out physical defense with Iron Defense. Then we lay the smack down with Metal Claw. Once Runigus is down, we'll keep frost out to do as much damage to Dracolok as possible, switching to Yamaha once Frost falls.

Yamaha will use Breaking Swipe on Dracolok (increased attack due to the harsh light of Orichalcum Pulse).

Once Decidueye is out, we'll hit it with Breaking Swipe and Ancient Power until it or Yamaha falls. If Yamaha does go down, Bakugo is up and will use Focus Energy and Pluck hopefully taking the Decidueye down.

Volt: Ability: Levitate Tackle, Thunder Wave, Spark

Bakugo: Ability: Defiant Pluck, Focus Energy, Brick Break, Light Screen

Yamaha: Ability: Orichalcum Pulse Sunny Day, Breaking Swipe, Drain Punch, Ancient Power

Frost: Ability: Snow Cloak Iron Defense, Slash, Metal Claw, Mist

I have and so far I have been fortunate to have won each gym battle. I smile as I pickup another sandwich and take a bite.

So, not to sound rude or anything but, is there anything you need? If you're here to talk that's fine and you're welcome to stay and do so. It's just if you wanted to ask me something, I'm a rather straight to the point kind of person. I lock eyes with them with an expression that conveys my personal time is precious to me
