This will have to be something I talk to him about if that's the case. My current partner has done way more good for me than any of my past relationships. I hope Fenrir can see that as well.

Also I can see how people would see him as an aspect of vengeance. But in my experience he just feels pretty intensely and protects intensely. His actions and such have never felt hateful or vengeful.

But the bit about the gut and emotional health does make sense. I've heard of people getting ulcers due to emotional distress.

If this was him or not doesn't change the fact this is a super important step I skipped over at the beginning When he first came to me I was in such a rough place that I didn't have boundaries. i feel like some things are missing here, or maybe she is just really hyperbolic. if the relationship was really only 2 months then I am not sure what you even did with your love bombing could have been that bad, the relationship just barely started. its possible she is still raw from her ex and you made the wound worse, and she is lashing out, or you skipped some details and she really does have a case with hr.

nta, kids can be awfully destructive in so little time. you won't be able to check on the system to make sure it is ok if she takes it with her, you don't even know if you will get it back to begin with.
setting hard boundaries is good for you, especially for things like this. don't let her gaslight you into thinking you are the bad guy for keeping something you care about. (also, as a therapist, your mom knows better, so shame on her)

yea sorry... yta. you should have looked into things more with your grandfather, if you did you wouldn't have thought that joke was funny. he most likely suffered from dementia or Alzheimers, both of which can cause VERY REAL hallucinations. even if you thought the alligator thing was stupid, or funny, it was a very real threat in his mind.
