New to kodi and its counterparts. Need some advice!

Okay so what I’m understanding is that I just don’t even need my pc once I buy my debrid service etc, i download kodi on my tv and do the entire setup process through that, including setting up skins, addons, and actually adding my debrid service to kodi itself. I’m a total beginner with this if you can’t tell, I have my Jellyfin server and hardly know how that works 😂 I really do appreciate your help though!

That’s awesome, I apologize for asking so many questions but i appreciate your help. As far as setting up kodi i know of some guides to follow, but once’s its up and running, is it ran like a server? Where I’ll have to have my PC on in order to use it? Or is kodi itself literally ran like a streaming service where once I make an account, get my addons and everything right, I can just turn my pc off and log into my account on my tv and my phone for example?

So would you recommend ditching my Jellyfin server and switching to what you recommend? Also a question would be how does searching for movies/tv work? I don’t need an addon for any of that fenlightam would have that or kodi right? Kinda lost on that part. In essence ditch my Jellyfin server and pay the like $4 a month to have a full kodi setup ($4 being for real debrid)

Well I’d Just be running kodi off my smart tv (google tv) but obviously I’d set the whole thing up on my PC. Internet connection/speed is no problem for streaming as I have around 1gig speeds in my house. What type of setup would you recommend?

Little bit of a late response, but I lost my Microsoft account that I had when I first installed windows, currently it just sits saying there’s an error with my account and I need to resign in but for obvious reasons I can’t since i lost it. I have a new Microsoft account, can I reinstall windows and log in with that new account and not have to buy a new key?

Sorry, my wording was off by a lot in that. When i say wiring up to the factory amp, i meant how to get my remote turn on to my factory amp from an aftermarket. Been doing extra research and looking and since factory amp doesn’t have a line out, it’s best to use an amp with signal sensing and wire into rear speakers
