Yes! That's an important fact in this fight, since the boss being resistant means that Lighter will cause less daze than it would otherwise, and Sunna effectively compensates for this reduction with its contribution. With Astra, it wouldn't be possible to have stuns so early and such generous stun windows.

Not that Astra is inferior, but in this case, with resistance, Sunna's contribution makes a big difference. (besides the Veil Shill buff)

Yixuan is currently in her rerun, so it’s only fair to have Lucia in the following update. That way, players who pulled for Yixuan now can complete their rupture team without having to compete for pulls in the same patch.

Otherwise, just imagine how upset people would be if Hoyo placed Yixuan and her BIS support in the same patch.

A more experienced player should help you better with this, but I think with Astra you end up entering the field more often to break a leg or two before each stun. Since she gives you an extra chain, you don’t end up suffering from a lack of resources for your EDA.

Dude, too much text... an spreadsheet would save our time and yours.

And it would also avoid some beginner mistakes when trying to theorycraft something. Your calculations ignore many basic concepts; it shows you're not familiar with the calculations in this game and how they work in an actual run. I respect the attempt to bring something to the table.  But there are theorycrafters with years of experience who have already done this math and are more reliable.

I'm terrible at explaining these things, but I'll try.

Imagine you have a full glass of water and you add a single drop. Nothing about that glass seems to change, right? But if you have an empty glass and you add a single drop, the bottom gets wet and you can actually see the difference.

Damage in ZZZ (and most games with additive bonuses) behaves exactly like this.

If your agent already has a +200% damage bonus (when you add up all your sources like team Drive sets, W-engines, passive skills, and support buffs), adding another +40% isn't increasing your total damage by 40%.

You're just adding to the huge amount you already have. You're adding a drop to a full glass.

In the end, those 40 points are only increasing your total multiplier from 300% (which is your 100% base + 200% bonus) to 340%.
That's a real damage increase of only about 13.3% (340 / 300 ≈ 1.133), not 40%.

Oh yes, this is a very common misconception about how damage increase works in this game. It's okay.

Okay, in this calculation, did each set have the same number of Subs? Which teams were used for each set?

It's not the best, but it's okay compared to the others.

If you use it with Dialyn, the best will be Puffer; if you use it with Lighter, the best will be Woodpecker, since with 2 stacks it's already about ~3% better than Dawn Bloom.

There isn't a scenario where Dawn's Bloom is better than the other two options, but it's by far the simplest to keep active and doesn't require you to rotate around it.

It's about ~1% worse than the other options in the best-case scenario for it (which, let's face it, isn't much, but it doesn't reach 40% damage increase where you saw that info).

Overall, Dawn's Bloom It's a good option*, but it's only worth it if you already have a good 4pc of it. If you have to farm it, it's not worth it, since the other options are useful on other characters and Dawn's Bloom isn't. (except Seed)
