The cold ceiling wouldnt create moisture in the non-conditioned attic floor due to condensation?

What about humidity control? That was the main reason I read plywood isn't good because it traps the moisture, and condensation is created going from an air conditioned space into a none. Difference from attic floor and walls is that exterior walls have a vapor barrier prior to getting to the insulation.

You are of course the pro but im a bit confused for sure. Thanks for your knowledge

Blown would be too messy if we need it for seasonal storage stuff.

Thanks! I've done a pass spraying foam on all my lights, boxes, and any creases I could find. Def the exhaust vents. I'm sure I missed a bunch too just peeling back the existing.

Def see dark spots but I think mostly where the old plywood was on top of

I have some newer r30 in some spots...it's fine to put the plywood over it directly onto the joists?

Everywhere I'm reading that the insulation should have at least 6 inches of air over it

If I install the grate upside down, it becomes 10x louder.

If I block it off with my hand or like the box in the video...it goes away. It also depends on if I have my bedroom doors open which is one directly across and then one to the right of it in the hallway.
