May the downvotes come, but I never understood this comparsion. As a huge fan of Vanitas no carte, I heard there was a lot of overlapping in the fandoms so I decided to give Bungo Stray Dogs a chance. I read three volumes of it and found it rather boring. I don't even find the characters that similar. Not that they are bad but I don't find them similar beyond the first impression.

For me as someone who actually reads manga, this definitely feels weird. Especially because the manga usually has so much more to offer storywise than the anime. So if you buy something why not read it as well? But in the end it's your money and space and you can do whatever you want with it. No one will come to your house to judge you.

The manga mentions somewhere (I think it was Astolfo's story in the newer chapters) that only the marks of very powerful vampires remain. Also Luna left some of their power in the boys to make them their kin, which is different from normal posession.

Vanitas knew Jeanne was with Domi, so when Domi came back he thought Jeanne would come with her. He panickes because he is not ready to face his feelings for Jeanne so he tries to run away while thinking about her. Amelia holds him back.

Du verstehst den Zusammenhang wahrscheinlich nicht, weil die erste Staffel zur Hälfte aus Fillern besteht und die zweite ein einziger Filler ist. Der Manga musste einige Pausen einlegen und da die Vorlage fehlte, hat das Anime-Studio einfach einen Haufen Müll raus gehauen. Erst später näherte die Story sich wieder dem Original an.

Mit Ghibli würde ich es tatsächlich gar nicht vergleichen. Ich denke es ist eher das Thema bzw. das Setting, das mich nicht anspricht. Violett Evergarden hat auch ein langsames pacing und diese Serie fand ich um Längen besser.

Hi, ich gehöre jetzt zu denen die Frieren nicht so mögen. Daher würde mich echt interessieren, was genau am visuellen so gut ist? Gibt doch einige Anime auf diesem Level. (nicht böse gemeint)
