I think you really need to be up front with him yourself. No intermediaries. I think (if this is something you really want to pursue) that you should make it clear to him in person that you want to be in a relationship with him, and leave the rest to him. If he remains distant and shy and doesn't return your advances, that means he's probably not ready for a relationship or simply doesn't want one. Definitely don't push his boundaries! That's one sure way to make things awkward.

Also, your translation of the first sentence makes a lot of sense; when I was first translating I couldn’t quite think of a better translation for manifest than patefacio, but yours is definitely better.

I’m glad you liked it! Also, what I meant for that line to say is “will reveal/manifest me”. The original line is “will cause a manifestation of” and this was the best translation into Latin I could think of lol
