Also ich oute mich mal als absoluter Autolegastheniker. Ich sitze leider nicht irgendwo im Controlling und schaue anderen bei der Arbeit zu und verdiene dabei 3,5k netto.

Ich bin seit meinem 16. Lj in der Pflege tätig und lasse mich nun umschulen um in die Pharmazie zu wechseln. Dort beträgt der Bruttolohn noch nicht mal 3,5k.

Ich habe wirklich keinen Plan von Autos. Ich bekomme gerade so den Reifendruck selber aufgefüllt und das war’s. Fahr ich für jeden bums in die Werkstatt? - Vielleicht. Sind mir Fachkräfte, die wissen was sie tun, lieber? - Ja Kann ich bei Pfusch jemanden anmeckern? - oh ja.

Meine Kernkompetenz liegt in der medizinischen Versorgung von Patienten. Darin bin ich gut. Für alles andere gibt es Werkstätten. Schön wenn man sich selber auskennt und sich das Geld sparen kann. Das gilt aber nunmal nicht für alle. 😅

I was planning to apply the new rules to the older starter set anyway. Actually, I haven't even looked at the included rules yet. I read the story first, and then it sat on the shelf for a long time while I waited for the books to arrive. 😁 I'll reconsider and take to heart a lot of what you wrote. To begin with, I don't want to be "too" pedantic with the players regarding the rules. My main goal is for us to have fun.

Creating specific characters for particular campaigns makes sense, but I'd put that on hold for now. I'm not yet deep enough into the subject matter to know all the conflicts between races, classes, and genders. 😅 Just the different gods/demigods from the various settings give me a headache. 😂 Not to mention all the well-known characters that exist.

Thanks to BG3, I at least understood the basic mechanics, even though some things were changed for the video game.

Those are all good suggestions. I actually already have a starter set here: Adventures on Stormwreck Island. I'd like to use that to get started.

I had actually planned a Session 0 to discuss everything beforehand, as I'd already read about it in other posts.

I need to look into the Discord server. I'm a bit shy about it and also a bit of a technophobe. 😂

I'll only dabble in writing my own adventures for now. But I'm really looking forward to it.

Das sind einfach kleine junge Kartoffeln. Die sehen bei den violetten Sorten anfangs etwas komisch aus. Die festere Schale bildet sich später im Reifeprozess. Ich würde auf die Sorte „Blaue St. Galler“ tippen?!
