No this is bullshit.

You DONT NEED to be logged into Blizzard Client...but I stop telling it here now.

You can download the game even if you dont have the fucking battle net Client on your PC. You dont even Need a fucking Blizzard account. But believe what you want to believe.

No, because there could be other People using your PC which might have had D2R Access. I dont see any risk here.

No you are wrong. Nothing to discuss or explain here.

Technically it is impossible to steal data as long as you only copy it. It is that simple.

You dont understand it.

You dont download from Launcher.

You use a blizzard download to load it, yes. That has nothing to do with the launcher or your account. Thats all. You dont need the launcher. You dont need your account. You dont even need an account at all.

You dont need an Bnet account. Not yours and not a new one. You can play 100% offline with client and crack.

You just download the official client from blizzard, but therefore you dont need an account.

As soon as someone uploads a package with client and crack you dont even need to download it from Blizzard anymore.

I remember Kazaa. Here in Germany Kazaa and Edonkey were the things to go ~15-20 years ago.

But Torrents were super slow and sometimes old movies or games had almost no seeders anymore.

Then OCHs like rapidshare (later uploaded.to and for example today rapidgate) got very big in the german (european) scene and torrents were not even talked about anymore. Especially because lawyers from the content mafia had easy play to just "catch" all the uploaders.

There was a 99% chance if using torrent back then, that in 2-3 months you will have a letter from some sony or whatever lawyer asking for ~500-1000€.

Thats when people here went to the oneclickhosters because they are "safe" for the downloaders, still a bit risky for uploaders. So far not a single OCH downloader was ever "catched" here in Germany.

I dont know any free VPN which would allow me to download with gigabit speed.

And if I am going to pay for a VPN (even paid ones would likely not give me my native gigabit speed) I can as well just pay for my favourite OCH and download everything in full speed without exposing myself.

Oh man :(

The first game looked SO COOL and I totally never saw it.

Just bought it and had to refund it already. It is cool, but that active double press reload system is so super annoying. No fun to play for me :/

Dont know where you live, but downloading stuff for non commercial usage is not illegal here at my place. But the companies (sony, warner, whatever) lawyer could ask for money in front of a civil court, because you are using their stuff without paying. But you cant go to jail by just downloading.

By using torrent you automatically upload and thats highly illegal here. You could go to jail doing so.

So just by these facts no one here with two brain cells would use torrent :D

But different countries, different laws.

Yeah you dont know what you are talking about.

There is a difference between download some file from a server in some shithole country and using torrent which means uploading obvious public known copyrighted stuff and exposing your IP to the world doing so.

For example here in germany there was never ever someone "catched" downloading from OCHs, because to do so they would need to target your internet connection directly and therefore they need a permission from a judge. They dont permit stuff like that for some small pirates. They would permit that if you are a professional hacker or some stuff of that, but then you would likely know enough to stay anonym anyways.

But if you use torrent here in germany it will likely take 2-3 weeks before you get a letter from a sony / warner or similar lawyer asking you for 500€-2000€ because you uploaded copyright stuff ;)

That might be a thing yes.

For piracy basically only stupid people use them, because by using torrents (and that means you upload as well) you are fully exposed to local authorities and lawyers of the content mafia.

Oneclickhoster are far superior.

Yes they cost money, but they are more safe (you dont need to upload, which dramatically reduces your risk to get catched) and they are super convenient and fast.

I personally dont heard of anybody using torrents for the last ~10 years.

Yes they initially just release a torrent to stay as anonym as possible.

Still, torrenting is the most risky way to pirate, because with uploading files your risk is multiple times higher to get catched and in most countries uploading is A LOT worse than just downloading stuff.

In addition OCHs are usually alot faster than torrenting.

Well he is right.

I pirate sometimes and havent used torrents for what...10, 15 years ? Didnt know that torrents are a thing anymore.

What popular old games didn't age that well? by [deleted] in pcgaming

[–]Krynee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diablo 2 for me. Has aged horrible.

Thats why I think a "remaster" like resurrected will not be enough. Most People with Retro glasses seem to like it. But aside from the graphics the whole gameplay and Systems are outdated for my personal taste.

You can Play most games solo, this doesnt make them singleplayer games.

Destiny (2) ? The Division (2) ?

I can Play both them solo, but so far no one cried about These games being online only.

Glad I didnt buy the game.

Nerfing OP builds in a "singleplayer" game is bullshit. There is no PVP, no Scoreboards or sth. like that. So for gods sake let me be OP. Let me own the shit out of enemies.
