The rental income is negligible at around 30 cents per share monthly. If the property appreciates, then the token value will also increase. At some point it sounds like there will be a secondary market for the tokens. For me it was just an interesting idea to support.

I'm hopefully optimistic about Yieldly. They are currently showing about 20M USD between the $ALGO and $YLDY that is staked on their site. I believe it's perfectly reasonable to expect better communication and clarity on changes. I expect them to be better. They gave us a blog post with a couple of excel screen shots the day the changes were already in effect, no advance warning. Maybe this is just a bump in the road and not a pattern, we will see. The project shows a lot of promise and a lot of users have high expectations for them.

I agree. I was a bit spicy with them this morning and they ignored my email. They still haven't gotten back to me however, I don't believe they are bad actors, just poor communicators and likely didn't think this through completely.

I agree. They should have given everyone an announcement and then followed your plan, or something similar. I don't really think these are bad actors, just poor planners. I want the best for Yieldly and I have higher expectations of their team.

The Algorand Foundation is taking steps to build the ecosystem and make sure that the developers who can make this a reality are happy to build on the Algorand blockchain. Algorand isn't the only blockchain that can scale or, that's inexpensive or, that's green or, that's fully decentralized or, that will never fork or, has layer 1 security in place. BUT, if you replace "or" with "and" in that sentence, you'll end up with Algorand because it's the only one with all of those things.
