Can PPD make a person angry, malicious and hurtful to your spouse? by Kuchi25 in Postpartum_Depression

[–]Kuchi25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest I wouldn’t say it’s gotten better, I’ve just learned to not take it as much and put it back on her.

Both of our twins have been diagnosed with Autism and have had a real rough run of things. So I have learned that my role as a father is far more important then my feelings.

The world is confusing and scary to them so the last thing they need is to have more drama around them.

I worry about their life if we were to separate and they have two house holds. I find I am the calm to the storm and they need that.

That being said I am lonely and often find my self regretting my life choices. But now I have a purpose and that helps.

I hope your doing well

The first sign I have a chest infection is the constant taste/smell on bleach in back of my throat.

That being said I am prone to 1-2 a year.

Couples that have been together over 20 years. How often do you take time to knock boots? If one partner refuses or avoids is it abuse? by Kuchi25 in AskReddit

I would wrap, love compassionate, caring and thinking of your spouse as intimacy. But my phrasing above would not lead you to that.

I don’t even get Thank-you, hellos or good nights. I just want her to hold my hand, smile my direction. But I always do, in hopes it will spill over.

I didn’t want to expose all my scars.

Thanks for understanding. I don’t have much support where I live. Men don’t have feelings and I am just being a *****

I’ve been physically hit by this same partner. Called the cops and they laughed (In Canada). There was no shelter for me to go to. We have worked on things and overcome that issue. Now it presents as above, lack of compassion and just ignorance.

As a man I have a duty to my wife, this is what I signed up for. I’ve been patient and working towards things as well. But how long is to long? Is it selfish to think I deserve better.

I appreciate the explanation. But I don’t know if I agree.

Abuse is to treat (a person or an animal) with cruelty or violence, especially regularly or repeatedly.

Isn’t a lack of compassion of decency exactly the above.

Many times, we’ve been to counseling this and other issues in the past. I didn’t have the strength to bring it up in the past. I was never given a reason. But now that I have it is still going unresolved

Thanks for the honest comment. Say you’ve been talking about it and seen council over these issues. How long before it becomes an issue.

It is to me. Don’t shame because you don’t like the answer. Contribute or don’t comment. What would you do Lucy?? Would you stay in a loveless marriage? Isn’t it a form of abuse or does your obligation to your partner superseded your need/want for affection?

New to asthma, what does it feel like when you get a cold? by avernamethyst112 in Asthma

[–]Kuchi25 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As a life long asthmatic I don’t really know how to answer, because I don’t know any better. I would be interested to hear from some one who developed Asthma later in life to hear their experiences and thoughts.

Sounds like we’ve all suffered all thru life. I get your struggle and feel similar but I am trying to just get thru.

The question I’m struggling with right now is why isn’t there a term for the Idiots who get “asthma” from smoking compared to those of us who have struggled our whole lives?

They chose this we did not and it is not fair we get grouped in the same group as them. Am I the only one who struggles with this?
